You'll be directed to a submission form. Here, provide the following information:

Fic title

Summary

Appropriate tags (fandoms, characters, relationships, content warnings)

Language

Body of text

Step 4

The collection name should be pre-filled in the "Post to Collections / Challenges" field, as you're posting from the collection's page. Verify that it's the correct collection.

STEP 5

Write the AO3 username of your giftee in the "Gift this work to" field

Step 6

Use the "Preview" button to review your fic's appearance. If satisfied, click "Post" to submit your work to the collection and complete the gifting process.

Alternatively, you can go to AO3, press Post and New Work, and scroll down to Post to Collection / Challenge and type the name of the collection in the box

‼️IMPORTANT‼️

If you submit your fics weeks or days before the collection is revealed, REMEMBER TO EDIT THE PUBLICATION DATE OF YOUR FIC ON MARCH 6TH!! If you don't do this, it will show up with the date you first submitted it and be buried beneath pages upon pages of newer fics! You can only do this on the 6th, as you can't post fics in the future! 🥰

2. It is very important that those taking part in the exchange, check the 'Allow anyone to gift me works' box in the Collections, Challenges and Gifts portion under your AO3 settings <3
