when i came out as trans i had an old friend from my church days message me to congratulate me and ask me for my name and pronouns. and i was shocked tbh cause he was such a head-deep-up-the-church’s ass kind of guy so i was super wary.

and after digging a little deeper i found out that he was very supportive of transness, saying that trans men are men and trans women are women

he also believed in the church’s gender roles meaning that trans women had to marry men and be submissive wives and trans men had to marry women and be strong christian husbands.

Aruna Harrison - Trainer Class "Moonlight Explorer"

Shiny Umbreon "Luna" (Chad once went with her to teach her how to catch Pokémon. After a lot of failed attempts to find/catch something, Aruna spotted a silver colored Eevee tail in the tall grass. This would become her extra-special starter.)

Nidorina "Queenie" (She thinks the Nidos are neat)

Onix "Cater" (From that "Not a Caterpie" joke by ooc Goon. She was terrified, but she managed.)

Butterfree "Flutter" (She did eventually catch that Caterpie)

Greavard "Bestest Boy" (Caught on a side quest to try and get Luna back from Noir; ghost types counter the F.E.A.R. strategy.)

REAL AND TRUE

Adding onto this, Noir has a fear of most bug type pokemon but ESPECIALLY Butterfree due to an incident where one poisoned, paralyzed, or put to sleep every single one of his pokemon(based on true events). So Aruna pulls out her Greavard to actually counter his F.E.A.R. tactic when she could actually just wip out the Butterfree and threaten him at gun point.
