More niche crossovers. Put Grace in charge of Niko Oneshot! Have the crew visit The Skeld and deal with a murder mystery! Let the crew crash into Subnautica! Other stories dealing with “the stars are dying” plots!

Grace getting drugged in other contexts. I’ve seen like two fics do this and I need more honestly. Put that guy in situations

Simon would be a botanist and is originally brought in on the project to deal with environmental impact

He used to be a radical environmental activist very wipe out all humans type but after getting out of jail for a demonstration gone wrong (trying to injure a politician or smth) he becomes a botany teacher

He doesn't seem a microbiology type so someone else probably has to be the astrophage guy

Maybe he was brought in to replace the pilot role bc he's good at navigation or maybe he was underqualified for the science position and is sent anyway

He rlly puts up a fight tho he's still physically pretty large and strong and probably punches at least one guy before being restrained and imprisoned to be put on the hail mary

I like to imagine him losing his arm is canon in all universes like finn from adventure time so he loses it during whatever his equivalent of going fishing over adrian was

I suppose this begs the question would simon still be interested in plants even not having grown up in eden but this is my au idea and making him exactly like grace is boring

Swap grace was also in eden and is decent at physical combat but is still a science curious man so he mostly works on making explosives and bioweapons for eden along with plant and food research; he used to teach but there aren't enough children anymore

But he was there on filament station to oversee the bombs which he made but ultimately was too scared to detonate himself so someone else did it and he took the fall

He's very angry and rude and insults ppl a lot
