“You used to be a Doll?!”

Illyana Rasputin has a Doll chip, a faulty one, one loaded with a personality that never quite got wiped and is always lurking somewhere in the back of her mind. Darkchylde, as she has come to call it, comes in handy sometimes in this new life she’s carved out for herself as a solo, however, and with Shadowcat’s careful monitoring, Illyana can rest… mostly easy? As easy as one can in Night City, at least. If anything, Darkchylde is the perfect face for Illyana to wear while she’s hacking her way through Tyger Claws and Arasaka grunts alike with her giant sword in one hand and a Sandevistan at her back.

because i can see her seeing right through emma's facade but also it's so funny to imagine her expecting a lot from the white queen the first time they sleep together but instead is met with emma just starfishing in the middle of the bed waiting for jean to put in the work

Emma’s a switch, don’t worry. Especially with Jean, and especially when they’re just first starting to explore intimacy together

Jean hasn’t really been exposed to sex in all its forms (we get a glimpse of that from when Emma was with Scott and she had to go out of her way to teach him how to fuck her properly), and this goes back to Jean’s perceived ‘perfection’, of the pressure of being a goody two-shoes, of being the sweet, perfect golden girl of the O5. Jean never got a chance in life to really indulge, to explore, to experiment before she got with Scott, who is as stiff as a board and just as traditional as she was raised to be.

Hell, Scott didn’t even want her to party and drink when they were together. Their sex life was vanilla (if not avoided altogether), and since Jean was with Scott since she was a teenager, she’s sure as hell never slept with anyone resembling the White Queen.

Meanwhile, Emma spent her entire early adult life in a sex club, as a sex worker, she’s very experienced with the topic, as well as quite preferential to the more extreme forms of sex she’s been exposed to. Unlike Jeanie, Emma was forced to indulge, to explore, and to experiment in the Hellfire Club, whether she wanted to or not.

So, when it comes to intimacy between Emma and Jean, both of them can sense this very obvious divide. They’re telepaths, first of all, but simply knowing one another, they’d see it, they’d understand.

Those first few times in bed would probably be with Emma in charge, slowly acclimating Jean into enjoying herself, letting her explore and feel and do things she’s never been able to try in the past (or known about, let’s be honest). The poor thing’s repressed as all hell and has never slept with a woman before, Emma’s going to have to put in some work to get her up to speed

And, once Jean has started growing more comfortable with her body and enjoying the act of sex as something other than obligation, then I’d like to imagine Emma slowly starts relinquishing her hold on Jean’s hand and letting her take over their night life

She’s a total dom in the streets, carries around a flogger and riding crops to make a statement, still sometimes dresses up in her lingerie from her time working at a gentleman’s club, but the instant those doors shut and she’s in bed, Emma is a happy little puddle in Jean’s arms, just laid back into the sheets and enjoying herself while Jeanie does all the hard work

I like Lorna! I think her series during Krakoa were really fun (I fucking LOVED Polaris, Jean, Laura, and Rogue together during X-Men (2021)) and I’d love to read more about her when I can

She is definitely in the circle of X-Men characters just outside the ones I really pay attention to, but all that I’ve seen of her, I’ve loved. I’m always a happy camper when Polaris shows up with her coffee cup and an attitude to wreck some shit

As for potential love interests… I can’t say much on that, but I know the poor girl was passed around a bit to some… questionable lovers…
