it's so funny to me how when Spike first appears I knew from just clips and edits that I'm definitely the target audience for him but since he was so evil I was just waiting to figure out how they'll make me like him and then when he started cracking jokes I was like oh. they made him funny. and I obviously knew he'd get with Buffy eventually but then I was like OH. they made him a simp! and I was already obsessed with the fact that he loved Buffy and took care of Dawn and everything when he didn't have a soul (Angel could never) but then I was like OH. HE GOT HIS SOUL FOR HER. and like? funny would've done it for me but he went all out
