No, really. Rewatching the Law & Order parody Community episode (S05E03), it got me thinking... Shirley has something to gain when the ACB is around: there's no change to give, she charges a full $5 for her sandwiches.

I don't think Duncan got cracked at the end, he clearly faked having shoes untied, why would we believe his crying wolf? And I think Shirley protected him, unclear of why. The question I have is, what does Shirley gain from protecting Duncan from getting caught if the Ass Crack Bandit never strikes again? Does Duncan have something on Shirley?

Rewatching Community in 2026 and wowzers the racism is rough, often, and sometimes quite surprising, but very deliberately part of the writing of the show. It's a crutch the writers often turn to to get a reaction from the audience, but 99.9% of the time it reads as white guy writes a racist thing that gets performed by the cast for laughs. It's not always Pierce, but it often is. It's so bad that I'm truly embarrassed to suggest watching it with other people even though I enjoy it alone.

Also, the Advanced D&D episode being banned from Hulu & Netflix is really rich when there's literal brownface and yellowface puppetry in the end credits of a different episode they never banned. If you know, you know, the AD&D blackface is not nearly as bad as many of the other "jokes" on the show, and frankly, i think it's pretty funny, but I don't get an opinion, so listen to someone who does, like Khadija Mbowe.

I need a like 98% offensive supercut that I can show friends so they don't disown me, cause that last 2% is ROUGH.

Don't get me wrong: I love Greendale, I love the quick wit and the recurring jokes, the lore, etc. The writing is really great when it's good, and sometimes even the kinda offensive stuff is funny, but when it sucks, it really disappoints.

Who knows, maybe I'll make the supercut the world deserves.
