trans guy X trans guy?

I am always routing for boylove in media, but it doesn't do it for me like GirlxGirl or NBxNB! because I can't imagine myself in that place in media not being a guy or anywhere on the guy spectrum!

I bought this fan TADC manga and I gotta show off how cute the artwork is, the translation... Not so great but that's more a me problem then the actual story! And I ADORE how Jax looks in this style! (Big shout outs to Zooble who is even more unreasonably hot than they are in the show!)

Good question and tbh one I don't think I've talked about!

Long story short and omitting the countless times I nearly came out to myself and put myself back in the closet - in 2020 during lockdown I had to go for surgery that involved my genitals (not gonna go into details about what!) during that time I got an infection due to my auto immune disease. Thus I was layed in bed for months, alone and in pain, during that time I realised that I didn't have any attachment to my genitals tbh and now they where actively hurting me I realised that if they just went away I wouldn't care in the slightest. This coincided with compounding thoughts I had been having since lockdown begun and I realised that I didn't want to work just to live, I wanted live and do something for myself. And what did I want? Well I knew what I didn't want. I didn't want to grow up to be a fat, bald, miserable man dying in a cubical everyday. So then I thought why is that so bad, why is that the worst thing to me, what if I did a job I loved, would I be happy? And my thoughts over months led me to realise that it wasn't the cubical part that worried me the most or the weight. Or even the hair, it was the man part.

So eventually when my wound healed and the infection was long gone I started experimenting with my presentation more, tryed new outfits, new styles, shaved my beard and let my hair grow out. I remember one night breaking down to at the time, and now ex, fiancé saying that I thought I was trans and I didn't want to be because it would be SO HARD. That I wanted to be happy and that whenever I saw trans woman they looked so bright and their eyes shone but I felt lost and dead inside and like I had no future.

The next morning I woke up like a weight had been lifted. I made breakfast, ironically friend eggs, much like my egg had just cracked. I played up the food and told my at the time partner that I think I'm a trans woman. And he said 'i know' and I've never looked back!

You know what I've learnt to do whenever this happens now? Just smile at em, eyes beaming with pride!

It's great art and I do love seeing it but I was hoping the constant reblogs would die down as the account got older and most of your followers know of its existence now.
