not a huge fan of human supremacy if I'm to be honest. the world is not here to serve us. if you ask me we are here to serve the world but I know that is a bridge too far for the average person. at least live in some semblance of harmony with it
can I give you some free advice as a former snake wrangler. you don't need to call somebody to get that snake out of your house. it will leave on its own, often before pest control even arrives to deal with the issue. you don't have snake food in your house. unless you do, in which case you probably want the damn snake there to help you out
like I guess if you have a boomslang in your baseboards that's another situation but I cannot tell you how many times I took the long ride out to a client's house so I could make a big show of looking around for a ratsnake that was no longer there
a lot of people assume psychosis hallucinations are super intense all-consuming horror movie shit like the memes about the hat man or always horrible debilitating things that make you dangerous to be around
but in my experience 95% of my hallucinations are getting spooked by very clearly hearing someone knocking on my door or calling my name from another room or hearing footsteps walking behind me which are "just" my brain recreating the horror of an abusive childhood
i *have* gotten the "bugs crawling all over me" hallucination once or twice though and yeah that one is exactly as terrible horrible as it sounds AUGH

media and pop culture hypes up psychosis a lot as The Worst That Can Happen out of sanism, so even when you try and filter that cultural bias out you still assume it's based on something
when, no, psychosis is actually very simple: it's just hyperactive pattern matching. it's your brain's signal-to-noise ratio being off balance, it's seeing images in random static. it's not always this special uniquely big thing, it's in fact quite mundane a lot of the time.
no one is immune to psychosis, it's not purely the realm of the insane. anyone is one bad night of sleep or one bad case of food poisoning or one bad fever away from being just like me on my worst days.
and this, indeed, is why solidarity with the insane is so important: you, yes you too, are just one bad day from joining us, and no perceptions of being a "temporarily embarrassed sane person" will save you from the oppression of the psychiatric institution.

Hey. If people aren't aware, Microsoft admitted they know who you and where you are at all times and will give your info to the police.
They have a Global Device Identifier (GDID) Tracker that functions as a fingerprint for your PC that can surpass VPNs, proxy servers and countries. Although it can't survive a clean reinstall of Windows (it can survive updates), because Microsoft forces you to go to the internet and log in into a Microsoft account, they will be able to get to you.
Microsoft kept it secret and it was only found out when the FBI tracked a hacker thanks to the information Microsoft gave them.
You should be paying attention to this, and possibly consider moving away from Windows. If a government, especially the US government, doesn't like you for some reason, this could be seriously concerning.

For journalism, activism, or domestic abuse situations, skip Windows and use Linux routed through Tor instead of a commercial VPN. A GDID doesnโt care which VPN you use, only that itโs still the same Windows installation.

What has researchers uneasy is everything else the case reveals. Costin Raiu, a well-known malware researcher, asked on the Three Buddy Problem podcast how much of this exists on other platforms, and whether it is linked more permanently to hardware. Two things back that up:
Thereโs no consent screen. A GDID gets assigned when you sign into a Microsoft Account. Appleโs advertising identifier needs an App Tracking Transparency prompt and a visible reset; Androidโs works the same way. GDID has neither, and a Windows reinstall only gets you a new number Microsoft can still get back to the same account.
Then thereโs activation. Massgrave, the group behind Microsoft Activation Scripts, notes that Windows setup sends hardware info to Microsoft and gets identifiers back, the same tokens later used for Store access and licensing: โItโs impossible to prevent Windows from getting a GDID without breaking activation and UWP app[s].โ Anyone who lost a license after swapping a motherboard has already met a smaller version of this.

Jax displays signs of trauma, growing up in an abusive household. Her defensive behavior and suicidality is familiar. The artifice of masculinity she projects is inextricable from her artifice of abuse being insignificant. While Jax taking that to the extreme of being an abusive troll as a primary personality trait isn't directly relatable, the ugly ragged emotions causing a veneer of unwarranted aggression is. Jax further downplays the importance of receiving abuse, going into the "Bart Simpson getting strangled by Homer" face like how The Simpsons downplays abuse and turns it into comedy. She is aggressive to others, receives aggression back, and then shrugs it off as comedy, all as a defensive measure to keep from being hurt, which is tied to the way she fears transphobia. This is very familiar to me as a transgender woman from similar circumstances, as is the allure of suicide as peace from the battery of aggressive energy.

PSA PSA for those who might not be able to read what this tiny ass screenshot says + without the unnecessary passive-aggressiveness:
Go to Voice & Video settings.
Turn off Automatically Determine Audio Sensitivity.
Move the slider over to the left to suit your sensitivity (avoid pushing it all the way to the left to cushion possible background noise).
This should prevent you from cutting out so long as said issues arenโt because of Microphone or Connection issues. Great fix for those with quiet voices or garbage microphones.

Leelah Alcorn was a trans girl, a teenager, who sadly committed suicide nearly 10 years ago. I'm happy that her comic touches the hearts of so many people, years after her death.
I saved screenshots of her blog and last message to the world. Her parents had a lot of control over how she was perceived after her death, but it was also to prevent deletion by Tumblr itself. Even back then, Tumblr has been shadow banning trans women on this platform.
My heart goes out to all trans women who are struggling with society's expectations of who they are supposed to be and who they are allowed to be. May you find peace, growth, and respite from whatever you're going through. You deserve happiness, most of all. Thank you for living, thank you for being here with us.
