It drives me crazy when people claim that Luke's compassion comes from Padme. I love her, but she didn't raise him. She had less of an affect on his morals than Anakin did. Luke's compassion doesn't come from his uncle Owen either. It comes from his aunt Beru. The woman who took in a child at great personal risk and helped turn him into one of the galaxy's kindest. Beru made Luke compassionate: She made him care. Padme may have given birth to Luke, but Beru raised him. She was an incredible mother figure and shouldn't be discounted because she isn't blood related to him.

Listen, I am still not over the fact that Jango Fett was paid in about 20 million credits and a kid. The Kaminoans discussed contract details and Jango specifically requested a son. He was also a weirdly stable father for the Star Wars universe. They just lived in their little apartment, safe from the rain, and went about their days. He really just wanted to raise his kid and get on with his life. Boba had a weirdly wholesome childhood for the world he grew up on.

My favorite thing about Star Wars is the hilariously inconsistent descriptions of the force. Is it in us all? Is it magic? What is a midachlorian?! Who knows!! But, that silly lil monkey lizard in Jabba's palace is named Salacious B. Crumb, so there's that.

It is very special to me that Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Krryze got so much time together in season three. Their friendship is so perfectly fragile. Neither of them seems to like the other, but they both respect each other. Bo-Katan thinks Din is a zealot for his helmet beliefs and Din doesn't quite understand Bo-Katan's mandalore obsession. It really hits especially hard when, in episode 2/ ch. 18, Bo-Katan hears the ship land and claims that she is going to shoot Din for bothering her. Yet, when she walks outside to find Grogu unaccompanied, she immediately sets out to rescue him. Neither of them would ever admit to being friends, but they would save each other's lives.
