They go on podcasts together, and spend every meal together, and keep a book on those meals so they know what they like, and drive around together, and visit each others hometowns, and meet each others childhood friends, and spend all day with each others family, and would pick each other as an emergency contact, and always say ‘we’ when we referring to the future, and make edits of just the two of them, and post pictures that always include the other, and share every hotel room, and are the only two to finish the book for book club, and celebrated a birthday alone in SF, and got drunk and snuck off to be alone, and forced companies to tag their joint accounts in ads, and bring each other up entirely unprompted, and talk about flying their numbers in the rafters side by side, and FaceTime so constantly it gets mentioned by teammates, and need each other according to those who know them best, and meet up even though they are competitors, and show each other movies, and chase each other around at practice, and never get sick of each other, and surprise people who meet them that they really are like that, and share smelling salts on the bench, and know everyone is watching and still stay so so close, and get drunk off espresso martinis together, and are referred to with each others name, and try so hard to get around time differences, and god so much more.
