maybe he’s… idk in the last few weeks of his courses and preparing for his final exams (idk if bc summer courses work the same as canadian universities) and also training in boston while he does so? maybe he’ll idk go out to vancouver after his exams orrrr maybe he won’t and he’ll enjoy his last couple weeks of freedom with his fucking family on the cape before he devotes 8 straight months of the year, working almost every day, to his fucking employer

in the best way yes. i will take the fact that the worst thing the sharks have done in a hot minute is shitty bobble heads. (side eyeing the old junior sharks abuse case they’ve been keeping quiet)

i think they can handle it though and if it becomes too much or makes them uncomfy, they’ll just disengage online. i’m sure their multi million dollar salaries can also comfort them lmao

the bobble heads are so unbelievably cringe and have been since the sleepover edition last year. it makes sense from the sharks perspective though. will and mack as a pairing are generating insane amounts of revenue for the sharks compared to pre willmack hype on top of producing hockey-wise. the guys are also well aware of this and are professionals. even if they’re uncomfortable with some of the rpf stuff being shoved in their faces, i don’t think they’ll reject the hockey dynamic duo of it all. they love the mythology of it too much and they know the value of branding for them as a pairing

honestly the fact that they kind of dissociate and focus on themselves and their identity as individuals in the summer is probably the healthiest thing they can do when they’re attached at the hip like 8 months of the year. like i remember how on top of each other my best friend/roommate and i were in college during the school year and the only way to balance that out was to basically pretend they didn’t exist during the summer and spend time with our family and home friends (or maybe that’s just me and my fucked up feelings about close relationships and i’m projecting)

we just got home and my dad’s firing up troy (2004). this guy’s gonna have the most fucked up mismatched understanding of mythology

while this is the most likely turn of events a girl can hope he breaks the mould even a little. like look at his closest ‘role models’ that he has in sid, mcdavid, and toff. all almost 30 if not well over 30 and not a kid in sight. it’s not IMPOSSIBLE

i think the same. mack’s part of the hockey community but at the same time his family has always been very hockey atypical since rick and robyn didn’t grow up in it themselves, even if all 3 of their boys are DEEP in the trenches
