tbh i don’t think he really has a political stance at all cause let’s be honest he doesn’t exactly strike me as the smartest person when it comes to anything outside of hockey or the usual dumbass stuff. i genuinely doubt he could answer if you asked him what kind of political system canada has or what ideology trump’s politics are based on. he just doesn’t seem to know much about these things, which obviously doesn’t excuse him, but it does give us a better idea of what he’s actually like.

i don’t think he’s conservative, but i also don’t think he’s progressive. if we were talking about will it would be much easier to draw conclusions because he’s clearly way more politically educated and smarter in general, but mack just isn’t someone i’d expect to have a conscious well informed political stance. his parents give off pretty progressive left wing vibes, but i don’t think their kids are necessarily as informed or invested in these issues as they are
