Our names are Crystal, Joe, and Jesse. This is where we've been sleeping when we can't afford a room. It's quiet, well-lit, off the beaten path, not visible from the road with a little bit of protection from the wind and rain, and that almost makes it worth sleeping on concrete.

As you can see, we're not equipped for the elements and as we're finding ourselves having to sleep outside more and more often it's also getting colder and wetter outside. It's expensive to stay in motels, in our area we're still paying around $150/ night, though that's been trending downwards since labor day. Two of us are willing and able to work, but there's no way to hold down a job when you don't know where or if you're going to have a place to sleep from day to day.

On top of that, Joe is sick with a persistent bladder infection and sleeping outside in the cold without access to a bathroom isn't doing him any good at all.

In short, we're really struggling and we need help, anything is appreciated!

Beyond getting motel rooms to sleep in, I just ripped the ass out of my only pair of jeans, so I have nothing but pajama pants to wear until I can replace them, and we need to pay the rent on our storage space before the first of the month

Joe and I have nowhere to sleep tonight, and its not supposed to rain, but it's definitely colder at night now than our thin blankets can protect us from and Joe's infection is getting worse, he's got another doctor's appointment next week and I'm hoping they admit him to a hospital instead of just sending him off with another course of antibiotics that won't work

I'm less than a week away from being able to apply for a spot in the housing first program I'm trying to get into, there's no guarantee I'll get a bed or how long I'll be on the waiting list

They think I’m a burden due to my schizophrenia and the fact that I’m admitted to the psychiatric ward a lot. please help me move into my own apartment.

already i was asking for aid for this surgery, but the excess of this charge has really thrown me.

after having already spent thousands of dollars, much of which was non-refundable, i was told i would now owe an additional $9000 for my surgery that i was to have the next day.

i ultimately opted to do the surgery and pay more rather than lose the money i'd already paid.

soon, the bills will start coming, and i have been out of work for a couple weeks because of the operation.

my name is sugar and im a trans woman living w my gf after our white roommate ditched the house and all their stuff in the middle of the night leaving us homeless and having to move in w her my gfs family (some of you may have seen my old posts floating around and im sorry to be on yalls dash so much) but its been another two weeks of us eating bread and syrup sandwiches and a few of the elderly here have diabetes etc
