what im learning is that you cannot avoid your way into a life you enjoy

im really glad this is resonating with so many people. it was a very joyous and spontaneous and human moment that makes me happy when i look back on it. im thankful i got to capture it on film and that other people feel the same joy when they see it too

having to come to terms with the fact that love is not an everlasting performance in which you attempt to retain the attention of your significant other but rather a release of control and putting faith into them and trusting them to choose to stay with you no matter what you have to offer

to love and be loved is to rest

oh btw just in case nobody ever told you. just because your life looks different than you thought it would doesn't mean that your life is bad or wrong or disappointing or less than. sometimes things aren't good or bad. sometimes they're just different
