Ok i wanted to analyze what we have for Ep 11 so far to kind of guess something about it as we have to wait til Saturday when it premieres to see what actually happens 

So i thought why not go back through all the Whitepine videos Thumbnails and see how they correlate to the Episode as i think the thumbnail for Whitepine 11 is very interest and so is the banner (which is posted on the discord and Ivory’s community tab which also hints to what happens in the Episode)

So starting with Whitepine 1 thumbnail (as there is no Banner for the first episode)

There isn’t actually all that much with this first thumbnail; Ivory is wearing the clothes Mintuetech gave her and she seems to be in a room with wallpaper and shelves like a cleaning closet which fits considering she joins Whitepine

Episode 2:

Both the Banner and thumbnail are practically the same but they both show Ivory getting interviewed about Mysticat’s death which is the biggest thing in the episode so it makes sense 

Episode 3

They are both similar the only difference is the banner has Ivory and Clown on it as one of the most lore giving and biggest parts of the episode was Ivory going to town with Clown and finding out he was a soldier 

Episode 4:

Both are the same but they show Zolister who appears in the ep and it is a big thing and then Borm which i think this is the ep he starts harassing her and i think it is to be noted that Borm is more shaded and behind Ivory which kind of shows he is bad while Zolister is in a better light and more in front of her which shows he is good 

Episode 5:

Both similar images, the only difference is the thumbnail has the people who attended the funeral around the casket, and of course the main thing in the episode is Mysticat’s funeral 

Episode 6:

They are both the same except for the lighting, i think Ivory is supposed to be walking throught the police station again as this is the one where she gets interviewed again and Borm just is crazy during 

Episode 7:

They are both the same and of course the main thing of the episode was Ivory getting beat up by Borm 

Episode 8:

This is the first one that is mostly different from each other, first the thumbnail being the moment of Clown having an episode while in the attic with Ash which that was the moment of the episode i would say as the rest of the episode was mostly pretty chill, and then on the banner we have Clown with the knife again but we also have Ivory and Serapter which probably is just to show them spending time together and being friends during the trip 

Episode 9:

This is the first one where they are entirely different, the thumbnail being the moment Ivory has with Div in the forest and the banner being Pyro breaking down before Ivory comforts him which are both significant moments in the ep

Episode 10:

They are both different, the thumbnail is definitely supposed to show Mysticat’s killer who is named Thomas Debus according to other lore given but he is faceless because we don’t know his face, then the banner is of Zoliser looking from the doorway probably showing when him and Ivory talk when she is crying 

Episode 11 (sorry that it’s blurry):

Ok these two interest me the most maybe because we have no context and have to guess for ourselves but also specifically the thumbnail is especially interesting because it’s only a few characters on it like Ivory and Serapter are a give like Ivory is the main character and is in like almost all the thumbnails, and Serapter is in a few and is the closest person to Ivory at Whitepine, Pyro isn’t even that surprising either considering he is a major character in the series and i would say it pretty close to Ivory, but the one that is catching my eye is Kantje considering what has been happening recently with him and also because i would consider him a bit more of a minor character in the series, and also some things about him in the thumbnail is it doesn’t look like he is wearing his servant uniform, he is in a darker shade than the other (as Ivory is in the brightest and it gets darker down the line), and he is running, im kind of scared for him because something definitely happened and also in the thumbnail with Borm he is in the darker shade so that makes me a little concerned like is Kantje going to be a villain or something

Then the banner is of Ivory looking into a stairwell in the city during night/dark out and she is still in her uniform, which kind of makes me think she is back at the station cause i think the station is underground or part of it is, she also looks to be alone so im a little scared about that

One big hint however is in the description: 

So an ambulance is involved and so is a driver, and an “obscured voice” which i was thinking could be Ebony but im pretty sure Ebony was just Ivory’s voice with a voice changer but im wondering if the obscured voice is maybe someone who is like Ivory or Ebony but the ambulance part is a bit concerning, i did check on the discord a little to see what others were saying and some people said it could be for Pyro because he has been throwing up since the first ep (before anything happened so this isn’t grief making him sick) and it would make sense why he is on the thumbnail 

I was thinking more about Ebony, and I started thinking about why she chose for Ivory to go into the world of Whitepine, because of course she was the one who chose where she went and didn’t have to think much about it 

And Whitepine is supposed to be Ivory’s last chance to prove she can be good, and Ebony probably wanted to make that as difficult as possible, considering she is mad at Ivory and probably kind of wants her to fail

Im going under the assumption that Ebony knows a good bit of what is going on in the world of Whitepine and even what might happen

Im considering all the videos on the playlist “All Relevant Lore Videos In Order of Release” by Inkydiamonds on youtube connected to Whitepine because of the presence of Ebony in them and other factors

If you look at the videos on that playlist many of the Whitepine actors are in them such as Zolister, Lopezz, Clown (mentioned in one of them so im counting that), Vi, etc. 

I would love to consider KSMP to be apart of this as well but that probably is not the case so for now im not counting all the Whitepine actors that are in that series (which is a lot)

But those are all faces Ivory has seen before; she has interacted with them, betrayed them, befriended them, and more 

And Ivory doesn’t have her memory, so they probably feel kind of familiar, but she has no clue where and doesn’t bring it up

She was also placed in a bad situation, both being a servant in the Hemlocke home, where they are not treated fairly, and also her being hired right before a murder, and a whole thing coming from that

Ebony put her in a world where she knew what would happen. I think she knew that Minetuetech would find her in those woods and would help her as best he could, including getting her a job at Whitepine 

And she knew that Mysticat would be killed and assumed what might happen from there 

I truly have the theory that Ebony very much knew the world she was letting Ivory go into 

I’ve been reading a lot of Whitepine Fanfics on Ao3 lately, so I thought I would recommend some I think everyone should check out

Smokescreen by (orphan account) The fic is written as a play with one act featuring the Dectetive, a mirror and the “ghost” of Ivory, it is a good read and helps to see a bit of the detective’s perspective and its really interesting overall

Fox and wolf (and gun in the drawer) by (oprhan account) Bormethius is in a time loop or his own hell, where he is constantly stuck with Ivory and everytime he kills her and can’t change a thing, this is by the same person as the first one and it is interesting and still gives some perspective on Bormethius

Bleached linen by GoodTimesWithScar Mysticat is haunting Whitepine or most specifically Ivory, and Ivory tries to find out why, this is a short little fanfic and it is wholesome and basically Ivory helps Mysticat’s ghost move on

Let me call you sweetheart by ResidentHestiant This fic shows an interpretation of the missing scenes from Whitepine 7, like right after Pyro runs down the stairs to Ivory, it is from Pyro’s perspective and it is very sweet

Fatal Flaw by Ceci_ff An alternate version of the events of episode 7 where Ivory died, it is three parts the first being what leads up to Ivory’s death then the detective crashing out and trying to justify himself to himself, then him finding out Ivory was not the killer and crashing out more and realising what he has done, it is definitely a good read and i do always find it interesting to see what is going on in Bormethius’s head

Don’t look back at your past by Messypearl It is an alternate version of Whitepine starting with the events of episode 7 where Ivory kills the detective after he beats her up and her past with Ebony starts to come back to her, it currently has 6 chapters which it is crazy but if you are interested in the lore and like or are interested in Ebony then I recommend it (tho in the story Ebony is Ivory’s sister instead of a piece of her)

Whitepine requests book (closed- i got anxious) by (orphan account) There is only one request that they did for this book and it was a story about Vi being sick and Ivory helping take care of him and it is very wholesome and one of the few Vi stories on AO3 so if you love Vi’s character, especially the friendship of Vi and Ivory I highly recommend this one

The Hemlocke Report by ResidentHestiant This is the most fantastic freaking fanfic I have ever read in my entire life, it is so interesting and im going to describe it as best as I can but I’ll give the description of it has on AO3 at the end because I don’t think I can do it justice basically it is a report of a few things but most of it is documenting something Pyro was doing with the help of Ivory, it is inspired by Thesus and Minotur, and it is very detailed and just amazing and ill give the original description here because Im not the best at explaining things

“The Hemlocke Report, as it currently stands, exists as a collection of journal entries, wax cylinder recordings, newspaper clippings, photographs, silent film reels, and police reports taken in the city of Emberton, Hale, between 1914 and 1917 in the historic Whitepine estate. The report was compiled in full in 1926, nearly ten years after the final expedition, by the report’s subject, Sir Pyroscythe Hemlocke, after a neurotic break prompted extensive work with a psychotherapist, who encouraged him to formalize the recordings taken during that period. Once compiled, the report remained in storage until 1979, when it was discovered by Sir Hemlocke’s great-niece, R████████ Hemlocke-Caine, while clearing out the estate after his death. All recordings and reports were digitized and put to film, and released as a documentary under █████████ Films in 1981.

So there it is, it is a bit of a longer read but it is so worth it, ResidentHestiant did an absolutely amazing job of writing this and it is a masterpiece like if I could i would hang it up on my wall it is that amazing

I think it is so interesting to see the difference in Whitepine Ivory and the Ivory we see in the unlisted videos as well as the videos that are on her channel that seem to be connected to Whitepine (going off of the playlist by Inkydiamonds) because they are the same person yet they are so different, i also got into watching some of the Kaboodle SMP because of Whitepine and it is so interesting to see Ivory’s character there as well, i love all of her characters

But i did want to talk about Whitepine because we are all patiently waiting for episode 11, which also people are saying it will be the last episode of Whitepine which I don’t think is true and I’m not sure exactly why people think that is a confirmed fact because I’ve looked to see if Ivory or any of the cast members have said anything in the discord but there is nothing on it there and I have looked to see in some other places but I have found nothing, I know i saw someone say that 11 has been an important number and that is why but I think if that does correlate to the series I would assume the 11th episode is going to be an important episode (which would also explain the wait as this seems to be one of the longest waits for an episode so far) but if anyone knows more about that please tell me

Anyways i did want to talk more about those unlisted/secret videos, as it seems most of the fandom knows about them but I don’t see many people talking about them except in the comments of those videos and of course since we have been waiting for the next episode I’ve been trying to see as much content of Whitepine while waiting, i’ve seen very few edits of the secret videos on tiktok which i did expect more, and the fanfic department I do understand as i have been combing through all the Whitepine fanfics on Ao3 (which if anyone wants fanfic reccomdantions I have many to offer) 

But I do think the unlisted videos are so important to the lore. We see who Ivory was and why she can’t remember things as well as why she is such a mystery. She isn’t from that world and therefore has no ties to it 

It does bring up the question of how much Ivory remembers, considering we are under the assumption that she doesn’t know much about herself, and I assume she has very little of her memories. She obviously has enough to remember her name and also to remember she used to be a “hostile person,” as she told this to Div in episode nine

I do wonder if it is more that she feels like she was, or she knows because she remembers she was, because she said she was a hostile person, but in the videos we know are of Ivory before Whitepine she is much more than hostile, that Ivory in the lore videos is hostel but also a bit manipulative and power-hungry and has gone through many different worlds and whipped out a lot of people within those worlds 

I also had a small thought in my head of what if she remembers everything but is actually trying to improve, however i dont think that’s the case but also how did Ivory forget, because it doesn’t seem like Ebony did anything to her when she pushed her into the world of Whitepine but maybe she used somesort of magic of sorts that she had to take away most of Ivory’s memories or maybe because Ivory was severely injured when she was pushed into that world it messed something up or maybe she had a head injury and that combinded with her being left in the snow did some damage to her memories

But i think Ebony erasing Ivory’s memories is more plausible at least to me as Whitepine Ivory doesn’t seem to understand certain things and things can easily go over her head, Mintuetech even says in the first episode that she has a bit of trouble learning things and he gave her a book to read on the train and how she stayed up all night trying to finish it (assuming he meant for her to read the whole book), which is very different from the Ivory we see in the lore videos, she is clever, extremely skilled, and is a bit more socially experienced than Ivory seems to be in Whitepine 

Another thing is how Ebony came to be, it’s mentioned Ivory tried to go into another world (for the first time?) and almost tore herself apart and that seems to be where Ebony came from (this is unconfirmed but i am very confident in the theory) and she has been bringing Ivory to different worlds after that, but that is until “Killing God” (which is a video on Ivory’s channel that seems to be connected to Whitepine) where Ivory does it herself and after that Ivory and Ebony are separated until Ivory’s “death” in “How to Beat Minecraft’s SCARIEST MOB (cavenoise.jar)” where she bleeds to death after fighting the Cave Dweller, which i think leads to the first unlisted video (which was unpoloaded before Whitepine’s first ep) that is just called “1” and we see Ivory in a white void thing and she meets with Ebony 

I do have a theory that kind of comes from that information im going under the assumption that Ebony came from when Ivory tried to hop into another world and she spilt and Ebony was made because of that considering Ebony is apart of Ivory somehow and Ebony herself considers her and Ivory the same person saying “you’re me, dumbass” to Ivory in “1” which I think is very interesting given how Ebony feels about Ivory and what she does to her but anyways continuing with the theory I have is when Ivory hoped worlds in “Killing God” she split again and made another version of herself like Ebony and that why that exit way in “7” appears as well as that is who is talking to Ivory in “9” when she is in that wooded radio tower area as the voice on the radio tells Ivory she is her and she tries to convince Ivory to let her through but Ivory doesn’t want to and the voice says that it is okay and comforts her saying no matter how bad it gets that she loves her 

Another thing also is the wings which this is also brought up on the “Whitepine Theory Doc” which is a google doc who can access via the discord (you can just search the word Doc on the discord and find the link) which it is made by fans and does a deep dive into the details of Whitepine and the lore videos while also giving different theories that have so much thought put into them and I highly recommend reading it or atleast taking a look at it but it also talks about Ivory (and Ebony’s) wings which are seen in some of the lore videos, during the videos sometimes Ivory and Ebony have wings while in others they don’t and sometimes one of them will have wings while the other doesn’t 

I was personally going off of the lore that is given about Ivory in KSMPI (Kaboodle SMP), which KSMP is not confirmed to be related to those Whitepine (and it probably isn’t) but I assumed that atleast some of the character background we get for Ivory’s character is the same or atleast similar, as most of the things were about things on her skin like the thing with her eye we see is mentioned to be a birth defect in KSMP and her wings were toren out by someone which is why she has scars on her back, which in some of the videos she is in servers and those severs might not be compatible with the mod she uses for the wings but i think it is important to note that she doesn’t have any wings in the unlisted videos so im assuming by that time she doesn’t have wings anymore and for some reason they were taken 

Which is interesting as in KSMP her wings are important to her character at least i think they are mostly as they are brought up a good bit because another character in SMP also had wings but hid them for reasons so Ivory would talk to them about it, which also another thing about Ivory’s character in KSMP is she is from the Nether and expresses that she enjoys fire as it reminds her of the Nether in the unfamiliar environment she is in (aka the Overworld as Ivory’s character had never left the Nether before so it was very strange for her) and i point that out because the only thing she keeps from the room she destroys in the unlisted videos is the fireplace, she tears apart the entire room trying to find a way out and that only thing she keeps is the fireplace which i think does hint to a similar backstory atleast and she even cries when it is taken away as it seemed to be her only comfort

But one thing in particular I've been thinking about is the detective Bormethius, because he is such an interesting character to me, at least 

What I personally find interesting about him is how his personality and actions are so odd that it is the best word I can use to describe it. Like, at first, the very first time we see him, he seems like he is genuinely not that bad of a guy, he seems nice and like he is genuinely trying to do his job, and yeah, he might get a little to into it as we saw him yell at another person before Ivory gets questioned but he doesn’t seem all that bad but then he learns that Ivory was hired right before Mysti’s death and its mostly based off that fact that he thinks she did it

I thought for a while that was the only reason, but I rewatched it recently, and I do realize that Ivory is kind of suspicious, not because of her behavior but because she has no memory, was found in the middle of the woods, and seems to have come from nowhere, which is suspicious, which i think because of those facts he made his own theory of how it had to be Ivory because it seems like the obvious answer but he got so hung up on that theory he convinced himself that had to be the case no matter what information she gave and how there was no actual evidence that she had done it

And also, the thing is, he decides to do what a lot of detectives and police do in shows, which is investigate/look further into the case in ways they shouldn’t do, but in those cases, the audience roots for them when they do, but obviously, we aren’t ever rooting for Bormethius

I think he thinks that it was Ivory so much so that he starts looking at everything she says and does as rude or suspicious. I find the interrogation scenes so odd because she is being perfectly polite, and he says to stop patronizing him or being rude, and it is just so odd to see

Like we see the series sort of through Ivory’s view, and we see Ivory for who she is, while the Detective’s perspective would probably be very, very different 

It sort of reminds me of that scene in Agatha All Along where she is under the spell and thinks she is a detective, and her perspective is that Billy is a snotty teen who has an attitude and broke into her house to steal from her while we see later in the series his prespective is very different and he is actually very anxious and he behavior is very odd as she has a whole different perspective 

And also, of course, we have to talk about him beating up Ivory. That entire thing is so unsettling, because he was acting so weird during it too, like he also definitely planned it, he knew the majority of Whitepine was out, and he went and found Ivory, and when she was in his car, he told her not to talk or ask questions unless he spoke to her, and was so angry when she did speak and then right after he goes on talking to her like they are friends like “this is my favorite forest” and “its a nice day isnt it” and he wants her to reply and right after all of that he goes on to beat her half to death, which I wish we saw a bit more of that not the beating but after he had stopped like, was he sorry he did it at all? When did he decide she had had enough? As well as did he want to kill her at any point then, or did he really just beat her, then decided that he was going to leave her unconscious there

And I agree that there are 2 different POVs so I have 2 theories on who the different POVs could be

1: it's a person outside the place with potato is the previous player aka the baba yaga and the person inside the place with the others is Karin

2: person outside the place with potato is Karin and the person inside the place is a new player

The reason why I think these is first off with the first one is that since the previous player obviously was the Baba Yaga and has interacted with the chompettes before and obviously has a connection with them that them and why Karin is the one inside the building is because she's younger looking and we don't know how long after this game takes place but we can assume that if so they are working together is the theory is correct because Karin seems to be the more violent one who was willing to kill the protag in the previous game and her friends

And now the reason why I think the second option is she clearly remembers Mariah, Anatonly, and Gregor as she says their names and the thing is that it's kind of unlikely that the protag would have remembered them since obviously they kill people before but those were Karin's friends which she escaped I'm pretty sure the war with and obviously we know that the more violent one out of the 2 and the reason I think it's a new player is that they clearly don't really know about the Baba Yaga and is now like communicating with those two animals and there's probably more I forgot the rabbit's name but I know the duck's name is Max so that's like almost their version of the chompettes
