It's not a voice, but just as disruptive. It's not a thought, it's all my thoughts, all my feelings, and they want to be heard.

They beat upon my skull to get my attention, trying to drown out anything else with their sound, like loud drums pressed tightly against my ears.

I can't focus on anything, and every new sound and sight make me jump and flinch. I heart pounds, my breath quickens and my stomach churns.

I fidget and pick and avoid and curl up. I don't want this. I want to break out of myself, as if there was another me, trapped deep inside myself, the self huddled up under the blanket as if it could comfort me.

I lay awake and try to keep my emotions in check. What are you even upset about? Nothing has even happened today. Self accusation. Self beration. 

Stand up, walk on.

The trembling of my hands, almost a reflection of the trembling of my mind. My mind torments me as it thinks of all the things I fail to do, all the things I'm scared to do. And all the things I keep doing... That I shouldn't.

My breath wants to tremble as I resist, as I try to keep it away from my mind, as I think of how many times I've failed, and how much I don't deserve to be forgiven. How scared I am that I'll cave, mess up and start again from the beginning.

My heart trembles as I think about what I want and try not to. About how much it's been a part of me, half my life, such a comfort. It cries as I try to let those things go, as I try to remember another comfort.

I want it out of my heart. I want to hold on. I want to let go. I want to see it. I want to tear out my eyes. I want to feel those strong emotions. I want to feel nothing. I want to be free.

Free of the chains that I want grabbing hold of me.

So, I decided to post it. xD Your response to it kind of encouraged me to post it, honestly.

I’m a sucker for the less picked pairings. But I ship the actual mains together on all “four” pairings, but the idea of Marinette with Chat Noir tickles me the most, personally.

Over all, in general feel:

Code Lyoko meets Sailor Moon meets comic book heroes (outside of comic books, if that makes sense.

This is more a first impression. I've only seen three episodes so far, so this isn't a final judgement, just the feel I'm getting.

But, I'll talk about what makes it feel like those things to me.

Code Lyoko:

It doesn't start at the beginning, with how in the first episode you don't see how the two heroes get their powers, similar to how in the first episode you don't see how the group in Code Lyoko discovered Lyoko and the machine that takes them there, if they created their characters or if they were just changed into those forms the first time they entered said realm.  

The animation. Although this show feels particularly Japanese anime-ish, or 2D animation in general, it's in a CG like animation, which, for me personally, took a couple episodes to get used to.

Sailor Moon:

Obviously, transformation segue. (You’ll have to forgive me if I’m not using this word correctly) Not quite as "Oh my God, they're pretty much naked, just covered in pink sparkles where skin should be" and more their costumes just temporarily obliterate their other set of clothing. And with the additional movements and poses that they take during the transformation, it's near impossible for me not to notice that similarity.

Recycling. Not only does Hawk Moth darken his Akuma every time when someone goes through negative emotions and sends them out, but there's also how Ladybug breaks the item to get the Akuma, capture is, says "bye-bye little butterfly" and releases it then set balance back to the world. (which, that last part could easily go with Code Lyoko as well(I do have to admit, though, seeing this in episode five, when there were two Ladybugs was pretty cool)) This is very similar to the recycling done, not just in Sailor Moon (it also happened in the Power Rangers) but I'm focusing more so on Sailor Moon similarities.

Companions. In Sailor Moon, the companions are cats, to help the heroes and advise them in the show. In this show we have the same, even to the point of there being two of them. I don't remember enough about Sailor Moon, or the cats to give anything more about how they're similar. (I guess there is eventually a third one, but I stopped watching Sailor Moon before it came along)

Love complications. Everyone knows Sailor Moon loved Tuxedo Mask and couldn't stand his human counterpart. While Ladybug does not hate Chat Noir, she doesn't love him, and sometimes shows him exasperation in some cases. And yet, I somehow find the love complexities in Miraculous Ladybug more endearing and more interesting and shipable than I do the one in Sailor Moon. Don't get me wrong, I shipped them, but looking back on it, the whole dynamic was kind of irritating. She was stupid gaga over Tuxedo Mask but wanted to strangle Darien, I guess I just find that annoying now, or maybe I just don't like their personalities so much. However, I actually really like the characters for Miraculous Ladybug, and I feel the love complication dynamics really work in this way.

Comic Book Heroes:

They're heroes. Yeah, sure, this could apply to Sailor Moon, or even Code Lyoko, but the way they are heroes feels more similar to comic books than to those other shows.

The trademark gadgets, which can apply to Sailor Moon in a way, because that happens in there too, and I wasn't sure which one to put it in. But I could kind of say both. Mostly with Batman in mind, but there are others with trademark gadgets.

Disguise. They hide their faces in masks, which can't really apply to Sailor Moon, because only Tuxedo Mask does it. Masks and added costumes to boot, trade mark comic book hero feature.

Identity hiding (even from other heroes). You could say that is the same as the third point, but there is some differences. I've seen heroes in comic books hide their identity even from other heroes. But there are some outside of comics, where it's shared among other heroes (Though, this can happen in comics as well, I'm not saying it never does, but I'm saying a good portion of the time, it doesn't) This one might not count to everyone, but it's one that I felt either fit, or should kind of fit.

That's all I can think of for now. There might be more similarities between Code Lyoko, Sailor Moon and comic book heroes with the Miraculous Ladybug that I'm not noticing, but I'll update this if I notice any. 

But, as for my over all impression of the show?

I love it. It has some corniness, but it's corniness lies in the cliches of the shows it's similar to. I found the dialogue to be done pretty well, and I rather like the action, and I can't wait to see more of the show.

I'm very fond of both main characters, and can't wait to see their feelings for each other fully develop (come on, you know it's going to happen).

My thoughts.

Maybe it’s because I relate to chaos theory, or because I used to believe in fate, but I see so much beauty in the ending of Life is Strange. (I prefer the sacrifice Chloe ending, because I find choosing one person over many to be selfish and wrong personally. And I find beauty, depth and meaning in self sacrifice) But there was a balance to the ending, and I think despite the limited endings for it, it still works. It made sense to me, but maybe that’s just how my brain works. I don’t know.

However, I keep noticing something (because I’ve watched so many people play it, and seen a lot of the sacrifice Chloe endings) that when the pictures are changing, most of the time, people don’t get the photo of when the police find Rachel, but some (and very few) get it. I’m not sure what it is you have to do in the game, because I didn’t watch their games from beginning to end. So, in some peoples ending reality, Rachel is never found. (if you sacrifice Chloe)

One thing that does bother me, more emotionally than anything, is that Nathan gets the short end of the stick in either reality. Either he is dead (If you save Chloe) or he gets arrested (if you sacrifice Chloe) Now, mind you, I believe he needed to know that there are consequences for actions. 

But I also 1. firmly believe he didn’t mean to kill Chloe, and that it was a muscle spasm, twitch or something. He was being shoved, and it’s easy to set off a gun. Yes he shouldn’t of had the gun, but I really think hurting people was never part of his plan.

2. He just needed help, he needed someone who cared. He needed someone to love him. Yeah, Victoria cared about him, but that’s not what I mean. He needed a father, or father figure, and instead he got one like Mr. Jefferson.

So much of what happens in this game actually revolves around Nathan in a way. He’s the main suspect through most of it, and you find out so much about him, and his personality is thought through enough that he leaves Max a voice mail, and it truly pulls my heart strings every time I hear it.

And, if you think about it, if he had someone to care about him from the beginning, someone other than Mr. Jefferson, Rachel would have never even died, and neither would have Chloe. (maybe) 

You could say that maybe it needed to happen so that Mr. Jefferson could get caught, but I believe he would have eventually gotten caught. He’s only human, and humans make mistakes.

Anyways, that’s my personal thoughts and feelings on Life is Strange. Or, some of them at least.

Any of you are free to have different opinions and disagree with me on the subjects, this is just how I think and how I view things, and every one is different.

I understand why people don’t like the endings and feel dissatisfied, but I personally felt it made sense. And where it did leave unanswered questions, honestly, that’s a lot like life. Not everything you want to know gets an answer. And you may learn something or see something happen where you never witness the final outcomes. Every body has a different journey, and we aren’t always apart of every persons story. So even if we don’t know how it all turned out, well, sometimes we just don’t in the end, because stories never end.

Haha. Sorry about the last bit of nonsense, I’m literally just typing whatever comes into my mind now.
