Marinette sat hunched over on the stairs bellowing into the night, rain poured unwaveringly onto the cool concrete, creating a soft splutter sound as each droplet landed.

Adrain watched from his window sill, still pondering the interaction they had. His heart clenched as he saw her there, fingers tightened on the ledge where they sat. A familiar cat like blob levitated beside him.

“Plagg, I don’t understand whats gone so wrong. I thought we could tell eachother almost anything, but it just feels like she keeps so much from me.” Adrian said

“Im sure she’ll come around eventually Adrian, shes got a lot on her plate, ah, i mean, I can imagine shes got a lot on her plate. Like when you eat too much cheese!” Plagg replied

“Im sure she will, but I worry about when. It seems like she might implode soon.”

His hands snake through his blonde locks.

“You could start by lending her your umbrella, maybe you could start a conversation from there.”

“You’re right Plagg, I wouldn’t want her getting sick on top of everything else.”

Adrian rushed to the corner where his umbrella lied, it was sleek and black. The same one he had held over Marinette the day they met.

“Plagg, claws out!”

“Woah woah Adriaaaan—!” Plagg cried out at the unexpected transformation

Now clad in a sleek black suit, he stopped at his window sill, opening the window and disapearing into the night.

He quickly arrived at his destination, using the hasty advantage the cat suit gave him. He stopped behind a small grey wall just before the stairs, peering over its ledge to the depressed figure that was Marinette.

“Plagg, claws in.” He mumbled to himself.

The sudden transformation and misuse of power earned a disapproving gaze from Plagg. Adrian waved his hand in response before Plagg disappeared into his pocket once more.

After undoing the velcro clasp, the umbrella sprung itself free into its fuller form. Adrian took it down the steps, walking casually as if he were just passing by.

Marinette lifted her head, noting the presence and swiftly closing her purse where tikki hid, with her other hand she wiped her tears.

“Marinette, hey, are you okay?”

I saw people talking about Alya possibly not telling Adrien the truth because of what she said to Marinette at the end of, "Nemesis"- I personally don't think that's what she meant by that or that she was being complicit in the lie personally, but that's neither here nor there I guess !

It just got me thinking about how Alya would even tell Adrien in the first place if she was the one who had to tell him the truth about Monarch / his Father, and so I came up with this silly little idea ! I feel as though she would have to tell him as Rena Rouge because I don't know how else she would explain why she knows this if she were to tell him as Alya-?? I also like the idea of her sort of separating herself from Ladybug / the Miraculers over this disagreement, almost "going rogue" but not entirely (I also think that's funny considering her name is Rena Rouge- Lmao) ! I'm just here for upset Alya in general right now- This would also take place post their breakup if that does happen in Season 7 (??), which I can see being a sort of final straw for Alya if Marinette still decided not to tell him even after that- But personally I think the show is going to have Marinette tell Adrien post the breakup? Since the ending seemed to imply that it was their relationship that was holding her back from telling him the truth to begin with or something like that?

The last part was more of a joke tbh ! I see a lot of people joke about Adrian finally becoming self aware about what's happening around them (Like how all the heroes just happened to be in the same class as them, for example-), and I did a little bit of research before finishing this comic to confirm that Adrien / Cat Noir does in fact know that Alya is Rena Rouge- So not only does that add to his questioning about Rena knowing ladybugs identity, but it also makes it sort of sweet to me to think that Adrien would trust what Rena's telling him because he trusts Alya to tell him information that is authentic-!

Also I would be genuinely surprised if Alya doesn't tell Nino about Monarch in S7, like- 💀

The way she just threatened Tsurugi like that

When they were little (like kindergarten age) Kim and Marinette were "boyfriend and girlfriend". This basically meant they shared their snacks, held hands every now and then, and played house where Marinette was the mom and Kim was the dad (though sometimes Kim asked if Marinette could be a dad too, because he had two daddies)

They had a fiery break up when Kim accused Marinette of playing hopscotch alone with Nino. She said she saw Kim playing dollies with Max and Ondine.

The two said the other had cooties and that they weren't gonna be friends anymore. They ended up running home crying to their parents. The very next day, they had forgotten the whole thing and became friends again.

The two of them now get mortified everytime their partners teasingly bring up the story (they got told the story by Marinette and Kim's parents)
