I think part of getting better is complete ego death. Like you’re not above setting a timer for 5 minutes and focusing on a task. You’re not above doing a very simple 3 minute workout to start. You’re not above reading for 10 minutes a day when you first get out of your reading slump, even if you used to read for hours. You’re not above starting slow and then building up to where you want to be/where you once were. What you are above is total inertia. Doing something really is better than doing nothing. Radically accept where you are, radically accept your limits, and go from there. Don’t let your ego get in the way.

honestly, you'd break his heart if you said you WEREN'T planning on sticking his head in a guillotine. morticia, too. they'd be upset at the special treatment, too, but mostly they really want to be executed gruesomely as they stare lovingly into each other's eyes as their heads are separated from their bodies, and we need to respect that.

Whether you shave or not, that’s not my business. However, I really think it’s important to understand why you’re doing it. It often times feels better because it is uncomfortable not to meet beauty standards. Thants why a lot of people only shave in the summer. Growing out shaved hair also feels more uncomfortable than just having fully grown body hair to begin with. I mostly don’t shave but I do succumb to it occasionally, especially when I know that my body hair will be prominently seen by judgmental people (ex: wearing a strapless dress to a wedding). I do it but I am aware of why I am doing it. I am choosing social comfort over my personal beliefs. I have been pretty much shave free for over a decade now and I’m still becoming braver every day.
