the thing about spuffy that makes them so unique is that one minute they're in a screwball comedy where one is a wonder woman and the other is a muppet. and the next minute they're the most tragically beautiful erotica full of sadness only seen in a french arthouse cinema.

It’s funny rewatching Buffy knowing that Buffy and Spike are going to end up together, because every time she beats the crap out of him while making him look like a pathetic little thug and throws in some sarcastic comment to show she has zero respect for him and sees him as a total loser, all you can think is: “Go girl, there’s the man of your dreams.”
