Hello! Iām Kian, Iām 21, They/He/It- Nonbinary, Bisexual, furry, nerd, nonhuman. Plural, there seems to be at least 10 beings in here, and that number just keeps going up! A very cohesive system, so thereās a lot of overlap and co-fronting, but also vagueness and frustrating squabbles. We made this blog prior to syscovery but it has become an outlet for us to share experiences and vent. It is mainly Kianās blog though, and not just about plurality- others will tag things if they want to share. This vessel has 21 years of wear and tear, though we may not all be mentally that age. For reference, we use I/we/me/us interchangeably- be aware. This is an intro post, directed toward other entities, beings, whatever terms you reading this may be comfortable with. We may have little notes for each other here and there, so please bear with the direction or tone changes if a description moves back and forth between something like addressing an audience, and bits of intra-system discussion. Descriptions below written by Kian; Except for Claire and Calvin, they did their own. Weāll use colorful text to indicate who is posting or if multiple folks contribute to one post; Tags and reblogs will likely be used more frequently though.
Kian - Feline - Panthera tigris virgata - Caspian Tiger - Canāt be extinct obvi, bc Iām right here :3 Often co-front, especially with Cal; Like a Co-Captain, I guess - They/Them, It/Its and combos of those sets. He/they is okay also. I usually present somewhat masculine, but I have a lot of feelings about it. Itās mostly a majority masc presence in this system, so the vessel aligning with that is cool, I guessā¦ Claire has her own feelings about this though, and wellā¦ uhhhhā¦
Calvin - Equine/Bovine - He/Him - usual presentation is something akin to an anthro horse/bull, sometimes feel more like a centaur (phantom limbs and all) - the ādadā of the system - splits general duties/vessel maintenance with Kian - very capable and resilient - often the voice of reason - most likely to front - sort of a mentor figure for others - oldest, and been around the longest, besides the original host, but that boy is still barely able to deal with any of this, so Iāve gotten to help steer this ship for roughly, oh my (where does the time go?) 15 years now! Actually taken aback by that thought! Has it really been that long? Sure, for a large chunk of that, I was not acknowledged, but Iāve been here. Iād like to think Iāve done right by the others, been good, yknow- helped keep us alive, to help build up all of us. I guess you could list another trait of mine as āquite a sentimental guyā lol. Iām so proud of how far weāve come and what weāre still able to accomplish. Maybe thatās part of why I feel like some kinda dad figure- regardless I love my lil family so much! If any of yāall are reading this back over, you already know what else Iāve got to say <3
Things might not be perfect, but weāre still here, and dare I say, stronger now than ever before. Incredibly grateful for all and the level of function weāve got. Itās not always easy, certainly never effortless, but itās us. Yes, weāve got our troubles, but the alternative seems like it would just be so lonely, or perhaps the agony would just manifest differently. Whoās to say?
Claire - She/Her - Iāve been around a while, in hindsight, but more recently sort of re-emerged. Every time I front itās like a grand piano being dropped on our head except the piano is, get this, Gender. Itās so cool to just be chilling and then be reminded of the outer presentation of this vessel, and itsā¦ masculinity. Not! Itās absolutely sickening. I should prob put this in a vent post instead of our intro lmao. Anyway, the potential tgirl of the house; Iām gonna get these boys taking E eventually lol; I have a right to exist in comfort! Darya should be allowed that too! If she could front more, that would be cool, obviously no pressure D, if youāre reading this back; I just think it would be neat.
Darya - She/Her - A deep well of confidence and occasional voice of reason; Loves purple, went dormant/unrecognized for a while but re-emerged with a new name (and gender lol) recently! -saved us all by stopping og host from ending things 10 years ago- I (Kian) am glad to have her back around! Closest being here to a fictive - re-emerged partly because of Dana in āThe Pittā and based her name (and gender*) on that! Previously conceptualized herself as a male presence, but realized she felt differently upon returning :3 (had been dormant/unrecognized for a few years)
Case - He/Him* - *less like a distinct being and more of an ominous presence. Non-verbal, sudden flashes of violent imagery and traumatic memories- usually does this on purpose to shut someone down/change topics, or just to make us feel bad idrk. Very angry. It would be difficult to overstate the rage this guy holds; Pretty sure itās because heās actually quite scared and hurt- seems like a manifestation of 12-16 year old us. Strong urge to self harm - Possibly connected to Phoenix, maybe a subsystem?
Laurence - He/Him - newly formed - 1920s playboy gambler - can be quite nice and professional at times, other times he may be a cocky, self-absorbed prick (I'm saying that with love btw) - If he lets us know more, that info will be added eventually.
(Placeholder) - newly formed - Russian - that is about all we know for now - comes through with old black and white Soviet films and pictures. Had a memory(?) of a whole ass conversation in Russian, which nobody else in here knows, besides some swear words. He could understand it, like intuitively, but the brain wasn't able to grasp what was actually said; Very odd, but also very intriguing!
Phoenix - our OG host and fronter, dormant for a long time and recently returned, hence the name. Somewhat stable again, maybe? - Not our legal name, won't put that here for obvious reasons lol - Previously handed off duties to Kian before disappearing for a while; There is a lot of teamwork and struggling to keep the whole vessel going - He/They/Aurr
J - Canine - Quite shy around people, the system little, usually represented by a very energetic and loving puppy/sometimes fox if feeling more feral or very angry - He/Him/Pup/Kit - unlikely to post here, but still wants to be acknowledged :3
