katiieeee sheās so fun. sheās so cute. I love how optimistic she is; Iām always such a sucker for an optimist who gets kicked around a lot. I love how expressive she is, and energetic, and just generally very eager to be playful and helpful and silly. I havenāt watched enough bf to have any articulate thoughts on her character beyond just gesturing at her and going Wow. What A Story. you know when you get trapped in the resin of how youāre perceived by the most important person in your life and then you try so hard to escape that but in the end his final act is to ensure that youāll be tied to him forever, regardless of your desire to grow beyond the role he cast you in. isnāt that such a tragedy, when that happens. if I had a fucking nickel for every time that happened.
would love to hear about some underrated or underdeveloped jimmy ships ^-^
honestly any ship that pairs him with a woman is underrated due to the general homonormativity of mcyt fandom and lingering weirdness about shipping overall (and in that respect jimmy is a pioneer). anything outside of ranchers and fh is pretty much a rarepair in terms of content. here are some of my fave underrated jimmy dynamics though
joel: technically smallidarity is still a rarepair which is WILD to me because itās just canonical at this point. joel is sooo fond of him, and jimmyās modelled so much of himself in mcc and the life series after joel, itās very endearing. they are incapable of not working together even when theyāre supposed to be competing and incapable of not complimenting each other even when theyāre trying to be enemies.
lizzie: they had sex in that bunker š and then died
lizzie + joel: absolutely top tier jimmy ship. if they were going to open their marriage for anyone it would be him. the amount of times they have all implied or even outright stated as much is frankly ridiculous at this point.
grian: brat4brat. somehow still a rarepair despite everything?? if you want an instrument of torture, grian is always a useful tool. but heās been in his nice to jimmy era lately and thatās also very fun very cute (everyone should go watch their veinbound playthrough!!)
joel + grian: limlife and that 100 hours of hardcore series will remain foundational texts. if you want a jimmy torment nexus that heās going to enjoy, thatās this.
oli: again, just WILD to me that this is still niche!! I guess all rpf is comparatively niche, but wow. oli is kinda like joel in that heās always a safe place for jimmy, even when theyāre fighting (for fun) or divorced (recreationally); heās very supportive, and challenges jimmy without pushing him too far.
gem: she could humiliate him properly. probably better than most everyone else, actually. Iām sooo fond of that one legacy smp moment where gem makes him take off all his clothes before going into the house to put on an embarrassing outfit she picked out for him. gem is a good pick for jimmy because she knows (and will openly acknowledge) his strengths but also loves being mean to him, so sheās very effective at the kind of humiliation he enjoys.
pearl: this is less of a ship per se and more of a desire to see them team up at some point. dgmw, they can also have sex or whatever, itās just a secondary point of interest
katherine: unfortunately most of their collabs are roblox but their xlife dynamic is sooo fun. one of my fave moments is when katherineās talking about how she wants to put jimmy in a mob farm to see what resources heād drop when killed. sheās a freak! and jimmyās been known to encourage her to be meaner and more degrading to him <3

I love how their loyalty clouds their judgement and particularly clouds their judgement of other people who donāt view the world the way they do. obviously I love their relationship with scott, especially in double life, especially with pearl in the background. the scott apologia is less cute when it happens in real life but itās still endearing, in a way; their friendship is very charming to me. theyāre the mean girls!
FUNNY AS FUCK ONELINER. nobody remembers that pearl was the one who came up with it! donāt blame scott for it, pearl started it! it was a callbackā¦ itās still corny as hell but it was intentionalā¦ in last life when they were teamed they had a bunch of inside jokes like that (e.g. boopsies for the boogeyman check-in) and that sort of silly little line was, in a way, bringing it all full circle. itās great. itās stupid as hell but itās great. of all the things scott said to and/or about pearl in double life, this is one of the most permissible.
