...So I completely forgot to post a couple of weeks ago when I posted the first chapter of this story. Better late than never, though, so here's chapters one and two of Drained Dry, a Tale of Reverie. If you haven't read Reverie ~ A Fairie's Pact, I highly recommend it, because it's a fantastic story and well worth the read.

Many would say that striking deals with powerful, desperate undead is not a path to a long life, or a very happy one for that matter. Mariella knows that, but when the lady of a not-so-abandoned manor offers you wealth, power, attention, and influence, how is she supposed to say no? Surely she can find a way to work around her new restrictions and get the better of her new dam.

What happens when sophonts get overwhelmed by the variety of sights, sounds, smells, and other sundry sensations at the beeple summer party? For some of them, they might find their way to elderberry and xyr quiet oasis in the chaos of the larger party. All sorts of sophonts need a break, and elderberry's happy to give them one. My entry for the beeple jam!
