Got bored and calculated the sex value of every single Fallout Companion in a spread sheet and now I’ll tell you my findings in multiple posts because it is LONG.
Firstly, as background, Fallout 2 has a formula to calculate how good your character is at sex in order to figure out if you’re good enough to be a pornstar. Long story, really. But because it checks SPECIAL stats and perks, you can apply the formula to any Fallout character to figure out how good they are at sex. But something some people miss out is the perk modifier; this really impacts the ‘good at sex’ calculation. However, it doesn’t really affect the values in the sheet.
The sex value is calculated by (50*charisma+25*endurance+13*agility+12*strength)/100 +sex perk bonuses. Generally, 6 means you’re good at sex, 9 is fantastic, lower than 3 means you’re horrible at it. Sex perk bonuses affect the value much better than adjusting stats. The main sex perks to consider are Sexpert, which gives a +1 bonus and is awarded after having sex 10 times, and Giggolo, which is awarded when your sex value including modifiers goes above 9, and gives a +2 bonus, meaning you can get +3 by having both these perks.
Overall, the Fallout 4 companions on average are the best at sex (averaging at 7.037), and Fallout 2 is the worst (averaging at 4.79) (this is heavily impacted by Fallout 4 not having the 10 maximum, and X6 just being THAT good, apparently). However, as companions get better over the course of the game their SPECIAL stats can increase, which alters how good they are at sex. Some of Fallout 2′s companions change a great deal, meaning that by end game the average sex value is 5.05, which beats the average sex value for NV, which doesn’t change and is stuck at 5.01. Fallout 1 has an average value of 5.13, Fallout 3 has an average of 5.16 which increases to 5.17 by the end. The most important stat to consider is Charisma, then Endurance, then Agility, and lastly strength. This is pretty good as it evens out the super mutants that generally have high strength and low charisma.
The best companion is X6-88, who has a sex value of 12! Which is utterly ridiculous. The worst is Fallout 2′s Pariah Dog, who has a value of 1.52. Excluding the ridiculous outliers of companions with ridiculous stats, the best by base standards is Piper at 8.65, with Hancock at second at 8.4, and Deacon with 8.15. Outside of the wonky Fallout 4 companions, the best at sex is Sulik, at 8.12.
The worst companion outside of Pariah Dog is Ada from 4, at 3.13. Second worst is Boone from New Vegas,who has an abysmal 3.5 , and third is Dogmeat from Fallout 1, at 3.75.
Only Fallout 2 companions, Clover from 3 and Curie from 4 increase their sexual prowess over the course of the game, Paladin Cross actually gets worse at sex, and Boone is the only character who improves in all aspects except sex as he levels up.
The best Dogmeat is Fallout 3′s Dogmeat at 6.63, and he beats Rex too, but he’s not the best dog, as Dog from Dead Money scores a 7, despite not being a dog. The worst Dogmeat is Fallout 1′s Dogmeat, who scores 3.75.
