Notice how we are being conditioned to like the childlike features of the vulva. That applies to men in particular, but the society in general is being taught that those natural traits are ugly and unhygienic. I had a conversation about this with a male friend and he was acting like pubic hair was a fetish, meanwhile they just grow there. Removing them should be considered a fetish, but it sells, so it's called normal.

Call me ableist but whenever I see like a post about "making beauty accessible" all i can think about is how no woman is spared from patriarchal beauty standards. No matter your disability the patriarchy will still find a way to force you to conform.

I genuinely don’t understand how queer people can believe stuff like that. Genuinely, I would love to know the process behind things like “asexuals can love sex.” Like, I understand wanting queerness to be all-inclusive, but people really need to understand that it’s okay to be straight, cis, and/or experience sexual attraction. You don’t need to be queer to be progressive or nonthreatening to other queer people.

I think you have to be a woman first. You can't be gay first because gay men are misogynists. You can't be a religion first because religious men are misogynists. You can't be any race first because all races can be misogynists. You can't be an immigrant first because immigrant men are misogynists. I struggle to think of any marginalized group where the men aren't capable and willing to be misogynists.

I wish women could go shirtless without it being sexualized :(
