id love to see these kinds of people approach someone with higher needs autism and say the same thing or start accosting an autistic person who doesn't understand personal space or common social behavior. you cannot speak for everyone who has autism and neither can I. stop acting like you're some higher power or judge on how people with autism should act ffs.

we need more autistic characters that aren’t just white men who are super intelligent

we need more OCD characters that aren’t just super obsessed with being clean or symmetry

we need ADHD characters that aren’t just bouncing off the walls constantly

we need more schizophrenic characters that aren’t just “crazy lunatics”

we need more BPD characters that aren’t just really happy and then really sad

we need more NPD characters that aren’t just abusive pieces of shit that you shouldn’t feel any empathy for

we need more representation that isn’t just a bunch of stereotypes slapped onto a character. We need to have more nuanced and varied and more disabling representations of these very serious disorders because at the end of the day people should be able to see themselves in media, not just the copy and paste stereotype made to ridicule them.
