Good Karma

November 21st: Bought lunch for one of my best friends ever because he deserves it.

These guys were sitting at the exit I got off on 75 with a sign that said "traveling broke and hungry" so I have them $10. You can eat for that, so hopefully it helped.

I served at flip this night, and a dad was eating with his baby daughter. He got up to leave and left her sippy cup on the table, and left the building, so I ran after him and gave it back to him. He was pretty and his daughter was adorable. I hope they come back.

Today as I was late to a meeting, a pair of older ladies drove up and asked me for directions to the Atlanta History Center. My first inclination was to pretend I didn't know where it was because I was late, and I could tell this was going to be a long process. But I stopped and told them, which was not easy because they kept stopping me and saying "well she told us to go this way" which made me want to say "and yet you didn't find it, perhaps you should consider taking my directions instead." However, I patiently decided to continue to try and tell them how to get there. I don't know if they made it. But I tried. Anyway, who doesn't have a smart phone these days? I'm not always a ray of sunshine.

November 17th: I went to Starbucks on my break from my double at work today got coffee for my coworker Nicole. Are you seeing a theme? I go to Starbucks a lot.

I bought her that coffee. Also she told the barista that her name is Bob Saget. The other nice thing I did was force her to say please and thank you. We’re still working on manners.

I drove my drunk friends car home to make sure she didn't do anything dumb while she was hammered.

November 14th: Got Starbucks for my coworkers. Because Starbucks is delicious.

November 13th: I saw this opportunity to buy a bag of groceries for families in the local community who are in need, so I bought two of them with my groceries. I love stuff that benefits local people. Such a cool opportunity.

November 11th: Slid this note under the door of a neighbor who has been having some recent health problems. Just wanted her to know somebody is thinking about her.

November 9th: Today I spent four hours volunteering for the Bert Show's Big Thank You, which is their initiative I get a handwritten letter in the hands of every deployed service person for Thanksgiving! It's the least I can do when I think of the sacrifice my friends overseas are making for me while they're gone for a year.

November 7th: I dogsat this little angel pupling while her parents were out of town. She's precious and adorable and I'm thinking of dognapping her.

November 6th: I bought a round of drinks for a friend in town from Kentucky! We got to meet up for a while and catch up, and it was great!

November 5th: Today as I was starting to eat my dinner at the bar, a customer came in and said they were trying to leave, but their car wouldn't start and they didn't have jumper cables. So I left my dinner where it was and walked across the street to move my car to our parking lot. I jumped them, and they were very appreciative.
