Pros:

Doctors paying off their medical loans with prize money

Chronically ill people getting free testing (MRIs, CAT scans, X-Rays, bloodwork, etc) and possibly a diagnosis

You can ding points for 'anxiety' and 'you just need to lose some weight'

Doctors are incentivized to find an answer, not just find something billable

Cons:

HIPAA

They won't mask. They won't wash their hands. They won't take the mitigation of communicable disease seriously in their own practices. What's the use of doctors who won't do anything to keep you from catching what their last patient was in for?

For the 50% stat:

As of the new year, Israel is banning 37 independent nongovernmental organizations from working alongside Palestinians to provide aid and care to those suffering, stating that they must cease operations by March 1st.

All of these organizations provide vital aid, but some provide healthcare workers who directly keep the injured, malnourished, and disabled alive. Médecins Sans Frontières currently provides funding and international staff for:
