for me it's woodsmoke, brown sugar, tūī song, foggy landscapes, and the crazy combo that is a crisp breeze and hot sunlight on my skin. you have my express permission to be overly poetic or pretentious please go nuts. let's experience the world etc

#the smell of fresh hay and clean fur. sometimes when I’m sad I’ll pick up one of my guinea pigs and just bury my nose in their fur#they genuinely smell really nice. it’s like a warm soft grassy smell#the taste of a really good spicy sauce.#the sound of my cat meowing. or the hum of the crowd at a concert just before the band comes on#the moon over Salisbury plain on a clear night. it never fails to make me stop and stare. bonus points if it’s in summer so there are bats.#the sensation of slipping into a cool swimming pool on a horribly hot day.
