The rapidity of a meme’s introduction to its zenith to its decline is so rapid that in ten years, you’ll need a damn twenty-page manual to explain this. It’ll be as unfunny and hard to explain as jokes in Shakespeare plays, except even more inexplicable because fuck, at least Shakespeare’s jokes are usually about anal or fucking your mother, good wholesome sex jokes we can all get behind.

ok let me see if i can break this down easily. YMCA is the easiest place to start - the song itself has become a meme over time with people changing the lyrics to reference other pop cultural events. so YMCA is meme one (1)

this first lyric replacement (”take the breadsticks and run”) is a reference to the tumblr meme ‘stuffing breadsticks into my purse’. i think everyone remembers that one so i wont bother to explain it. that’s meme two (2)

“man door hand hook car door” is a meme of its own, a creepypasta from i dont remember when. it was a terrible stupid retelling of the generic ‘stuck in a car while hook handed man tries to kill us’ story so the stupid title caught on for memorability. that in and of itself is meme three (3)

‘gun’ is… yeah i dont know how to explain gun. long story short you add gun to the end of a phrase instead of what you expect the last word to be. its shock funny. its everywhere but its popular to add to “man door hand hook car door” for.. some reason? gun is meme four (4)

and the thing is, this four meme combo is something thats gone around before. meme combos are, itself, a meme. which means taking this meme combo and mixing in another meme actually becomes meme five (5)

which leaves us at loss.jpg. loss.jpg was a terrible bad comic supposed to be about some tragic event, but it was presented so poorly literally no one takes it seriously, and for some reason recreating the four-panel setup has become popular. so thats meme six (6)

This came as a surprise to even him, based on the efforts he’d gone through to win his lifelong crush’s heart, but maybe that was exactly why he was so incompetent when it came to dating; he’d never imagined such a scenario with anyone else.

It was a miracle that Nene had decided to put up with him for so long. Forgetting dates, never posting her on social media, sparse compliments even when he noticed she’d dressed up that day… The excuse of being caught up with college life could only go so far.

Every time he’d voice these concerns to Nene, she’d look at him and flash that captivatingly sweet smile of hers.

“But you still like me, right?”

“You’re awfully forgiving,” Akane grumbled, sinking his head into her shoulder on the couch of his apartment. “Wasn’t your teenage dream to have a devoted prince arrive at your humble abode and sweep you right off your feet?"

Her neutral expression morphed into a mock glare, a dust of pink highlighting her cheeks. Akane unapologetically stared out towards the blank TV in front of them, the corners of his lips rising into a smirk as Nene, once again, insisted that she’d matured and those dreams of hers were long gone.

“Even if they weren’t, you have me now,” Akane said. “No prince wants to commit adultery.”

Nene laughed as she pushed against Akane buoyantly. “See, you do know how to be romantic!”

These makes Nene not summon hanako and instead Aoi summons him

In my version, of course, she is with Fuji, but as a terunene shipper, she will be with him. Daikon likes assholes and doesn't appreciate what she has, so I'll let her be with her narcissistic prince as she alaways wants. I think I have too much love for Akane to associate him with daikon.

Okay, Akanene angst is peak guys. Truly, Aidairo ate, no crumbs left. 

Nene's clear sense of commitment to Akane makes my heart ache, she literally saying "you gave me the way to save us and I still failed." That sense of guilt with all her friends when she is only a adolescent? Gut-wrenching. 

And Akane… He feels it too. He feels bad for putting Yashiro in a situation that was beyond difficult, bordering on traumatic. 

I just hear the phrase "I would sacrifice myself for you" or "You saved me and then I saved you" reading this chapter. Tell me that doesn't sound like a sad Aoi x Akane edit waiting to happen. AidaIro are FEEDING us emotional content, and I’m eating it up with a spoon. Aoiaoi angst? Delicious. 

Okay so...This is another timeline Akane, check? ✔️ 

But now we’re entering questions territory. 

✦Q1: How did this shift happen?

Our Nene (the one who made the deal with the hourglass) didn't make this choice. So what triggered this alternate version of Yashiro to succeed in changing the future — in this way?... 

Yashiro in this timeline looks… drained. Tired? Empty? There's something deeply unsettling about her demeanor — it’s like she’s already accepted her fate. And that big eye and tentacles behind her and Aoi? Gross. Terrifying. The entity literally looks like someone put human souls in a grinder and placed the people's eyes as decoration, Which... might not be far from the truth. 

✦Q2: Is anyone else surprised that Aoi and Yashiro decided to sacrifice themselves? 

The Kannagis of the group — ironic, isn't it? 

Yashiro has always been the type of person who will try to get out of a bad situation in the best way possible. Our Yashiro-chan who was with the hourglass even asked "what about Aoi" and she was clearly not satisfied with the answer "she didn't make it out of the house." So for this other version of her to go through with that sacrifice? Yeah, she’s definitely different. Maybe she knew this was the only path that might fix things, maybe she knew too much... — but something about it still feels… off, at least to me. 

✦Q3: “The change Kako-san made was on Hanako-kun’s fourth birthday. It had to be.” 

I don’t buy that. Not fully. 

That statement feels like a half-truth — maybe intentionally misleading. I’m still leaning more towards the theory of 1968 being the real divergence point. 

Yashiro, the TBHK warrior vs Old man and spoiled child that control past and future in 4K soon in theaters. 

The plan is to fix this altered timeline — so our version of Yashiro can return to our timeline. Meanwhile, Akane’s responsibility is to prevent the festival disaster so they don’t end up stuck in a time loop. Right?

Some people saying perhaps he will not be able to see her later... And If it's happen is totally about what Akane said "I have to jump back to different time, so I can stop that from happening." And then he dies somehow trying to stop this from happening again lmao. (Could his deal with the Clockkeepers mirror Yashiro’s deal with Hanako — something driven by the fact that he doesn’t have much time left just like her? Huh I like this theory) 

Man, finally he is here, after one year. (I love how this could kind of refer to both Yugi's) 

I highly doubt Akane messed up the time — he’s a Clockkeeper. Bro should at least knows what he's doing (If I'm wrong Akane will gain another negative point with me... Sigh) 

And hey, I'm praying to be Amane, they can't make my princess Tsukasa looks like a loser. 

And this panel is one of those that make me think that the idea that the change the clockkeepers made was in Amane's fourth birthday is a half-truth, i still believes that the big change has been made at 1968, somehow they made Amane able to fix the big clock and uhm...be back at the time where Tsukasa disappeared, we don't know why Amane first wanted to fix that clock, not even if it was really a spontaneous choice from him, maybe Tsukasa had told him something, just to know what his own brother would do! Furthermore, it was Kou himself who said that Amane probably didn't hated baby Tsu (That time at the Red House arc). Maybe Tsukasa wanted a proof of that love, and we can see how it ended in Hanako's timeline, It is more than clear why Tsukasa now definitely believes that Amane hates him, and it would be very difficult to get that idea out of his head... 

Or maybe I'm just talking nonsense(⁠ ⁠╹⁠▽⁠╹⁠ ⁠)
