One more prompt before things close for a while. I'd love to see something for the Trickster AU with Robbie and Sportacus interacting. (Their first meeting, perhaps?) I hope this isn't too vague/general.
Itās just vague/general enough for me to play, thank you!! Iām surprised how often people ask about this AU, considering the posts donāt get many notes.Ā Heads up- youāll need to have read the first Trickster AU story to get this fully.

The sky was just starting to turn a dusty orange as dawnslowly approached. Robbie leaned against the support beam of his billboard, rubbing tired eyes and breathing in the cool spring air. He had just pulledanother all-nighter trying to finish his latest project. The rest of the daywould be spent sleeping as much as he could with the children running aroundabove him but for now, he took in a fresh breath in the silence of the veryearly morning.
āYou might as well come out,āRobbie said after a moment.Ā āIllusions donāt work on me.Ā
Beside him, the shadow of thebillboard flickered and a creature stepped out. The hood of his hoodie coveredthe pointed ears and blond hair Robbie knew were there. The Trickster Elf stoodwith his hands in the pockets of his jeans, looking up at Robbie with a fangedsmirk.
Robbie gave him a once over.Ā āIthought you would be taller.ā
Ten frowned.Ā āExcuse me?ā
āYouāre short. I thought Elveswere tall.ā
āWha- Not all Elves look thesame,Ā Fae!ā He spat the word. Robbieignored the malice.Ā āIf we are going to judge on looks, you clearly have not slept all night.ā
Robbie shrugged.Ā āNothingnew but Iām touched you care.āĀ
āAnd you smell likeĀ sugar.ā
āYouāre smothering me.ā Thatearned Robbie a glare. āWhat are you doing here?ā Robbie asked point blank.Ā
Ten looked out towards town, his previous ire fading.Ā āHowcan you stand this place?ā
Robbie turned to Lazytown aswell. A light was on in Pixelās house but other than that, the town was quiet.Still.Ā āWhat do you mean?ā
āAll these creatures hidingtheir true selves.ā Tenās voice was suddenly right behind him. Robbie jumped, clutching his chest, and looked back at Ten. The Trickster Elf grinned.
āDonātĀ doĀ that!āRobbie snapped.
āThere is so much magic inthis town, in these people, but none of youĀ actĀ on it!ā Ten stated, takinga step toward Robbie.Ā āOld bloodlines, other fae brought up as human, aĀ halfelfāĀ all wasting their lives being mundane and dull andĀ lazy.āWith each word, Ten advanced on Robbie. His ocean blue eyes began to glowfaintly.Ā
Robbie shuffled backward until his back hit the supportbeam. Perhaps this had not been a good interaction to have on zero sleep andhalf a cup of ground coffee beans. His magic was slow to respond, poolingslowly towards his fingertips.Ā āDid you ever stop to think they arenātaware of what they are?ā Robbie said, trying and failing not to sound asintimidated as he felt.Ā āOr that theyāre trying to run away from it?ā
āCreatures like us are betterthan humans in every way,ā Ten said.Ā āThey should have more pride. Theyshould act on who they are.ā
āWho are you to decide thatfor them?ā
āSomeone who is tired of hiding.ā Ten reached out to grab Robbiebut Robbie snapped his fingers and disappeared in a cloud of smoke. He reappearedatop the billboard, looking down on the surprised Elf.Ā āLeave Lazytownalone!ā Robbie called.Ā āAnd more importantly, leave me alone!ā
āYou and that pink girl shouldstay out of my way!ā Was Tenās heated response.Ā āAnd eat something otherthan sugar!ā
āI will if you grow a few moreinches!ā Robbie saw those blue eyes flash once more, then Ten disappeared in aswirl of shadow. Robbie could still make out his form as he ran off through thefield towards the forest. The Trickster Elf wasĀ fast.
Robbie let out a sigh. He hadseen Ten and Stephanieās entire interaction earlier that night. He felt betternow that he had met the threat himself. After a well-earned sleep, he woulddecide what to do about it. Satisfied, Robbie looked down at the ground. Nowthat the sun was starting to properly rise, he could see just how very far away the ground really was.Robbie clutched the light beside him. āThis is all that stupid blue Elfāsfault,āĀ he muttered.
