‎Once, a ghee seller came to our doorstep claiming that his ghee was homemade and healthy, so my dad was ready to buy it. My elder sister noticed that he looked tired, so she asked him if he wanted some water. He smiled and said, "Haan, bhot shukriya aapka puchhne ke liye."

‎My mom was just about to turn around and go to the kitchen to get him some water when he suddenly stopped her and in the sweetest voice, asked, "Aap konsi caste ke ho? Aap logo ka surname kya hai?"

‎My mom had to reassure him "Hum Yadav hain."

‎He immediately went, "Accha theek hai ,Aap de sakte ho paani."

‎I asked him why he had asked about our caste and surname and he said, "Beta, aapko pata nahi? Hum log Chamaro ke ghar ka pani nahi pite na hi unke ghar se koi saman lete ya dete kyuki Woh ashubh hote hain."

‎At the same time, I've seen so many posts saying girls shouldn't use foul language, that the vulgarity in their language has crossed all limits,that women are undeserving of reservation and that protesters need to be civilized. Meanwhile, politicians have made disgusting misogynistic statement. one literally said,"If you're being raped, enjoy it" and rape accused or convicted criminals have been defended,publicly honored, welcomed with garland & are fcking being worshipped by dumshits. Also not to forget,under a new law,an adult man can't even legally be recognized as a rape victim.

‎Where was this outrage when Modi called Sonia Gandhi a "jersey cow" and "Congress ki vidhwa" compared Renuka Chowdhury to Shurpanakha or allegedly made disgusting insinuations about Sonia Gandhi and J. M. Lyngdoh? And after the Education Minister resigned, a new one was appointed within a day, despite reportedly only having a bachelor's degree while also reportedly defending 11 men convicted in the Gujarat riots case.

‎Politicians can say and do whatever the fck they want, but protesters are expected to be perfectly civilized.

‎The hypocrisy is fucking insane.

‎Yes, some students did raise vulgar slogans especially the one linking Modi with Meloni. They were wrong & also ik two wrongs don't make a right,But the level of hypocrisy here is fucking ridiculous.

I'm from Mumbai & I can't really go to Delhi for protest but me & my friends are planning something maybe but if anyone has any ideas or suggestions then please write in the comments! (For those who can't be physically present at jantar mantar to protest).
