I helped my bestie @rosecrestie to write this freaking wholesome story. PLZ GIVE HER SOME LOVE! It’s long but worth the read if you have time :)) I might do a part two in Wren POV to match Rosies! It’s filled with Ydris and circus fun, but mainly our own headcanons and characters so have fun ~

“Rosie stop running!” said the 13 year old Dashia who ran after the 12 year old girl who laughed, “No no! Hahah you beat me last time I won’t let you this time!” Dashia was exasperated “Fine- but like can we stop I feel like im gonna- pass out.” She sat on floor of the circus, Rosie groaned and turned towards her friend “Awe cmon… Tired already? Fine.” Rosie sat next to Dashia and sighed and noticed her father whispering to the storage caravan again. Dashia laughed “What do you think he’s whispering about? He looks annoyed hahah.” Rosie shrugged “I don’t know… he’s always whispering to the storage for some reason..” Rosie giggled and so did Dashia “Weirdo~” “When is he ever not weird!” They both laughed, Rosie watched as her father gave a sigh and walked back to the fortune telling tent. After staring at the caravan for awhile Rosie then whispered to her friend “What if we go see what’s in it?” Dash looked at her with a smile “No ones stopping us?” Rosie smiled “Alright! Let’s go then.” The two mischievous girls stood up and quickly made their way to the caravan. Dashia whispered to her partner in crime “What do you think is in there?” Rosie shrugged “Probably some extra tent parts..” Rosie and Dash slowly opened the door which revealed a…. Person?

Amongst the storage boxes and tent poles, In the shadows of the dimly lit caravan, they could make out a tall women hunched over the side of a small bed. As If sensing eyes upon them the figure quickly turned around to stare at them with panic stricken eyes and Rosie thought she could saw the woman’s hands shaking. But before either girl could get a good look the door to the caravan slammed shut in their faces - an annoyed Ydris now stood in front of them. Rosie stared at the door in shock “So thats where all my missing blankets were….” Rosie turned around and looked up at her father. Dash stared at him with a mix of fear and shock, Rosie noticed his hand that had slammed the door was shaking, he was huffing, she knew he was nervous. Ydris gulped and switched into a smile “Now now girls, a storage caravan is no place to play in-“ Rosie looked at the floor “Désolé Papa… We were just curious…”. Dash laughed nervously “Yeah…”. Ydris continued his smile as asked, “Well why don’t we get you girls something to eat then?” Rosie smiled “Yes please!” Ydris, content with his decision, quickly moved the girls away from the caravan. Rosie looked back towards the caravan thinking about the strange woman. She had questions. who was she? And why did she steal her blankets? She shrugged the thoughts off and followed her father and her friend.

When night came and Dashia went home, Rosie couldn’t take her eyes off the caravan, she felt bad, surely there was a reason why the lady was there and why her father was so secretive about it. She figured once her father was asleep she’d check on the lady and maybe give her some snacks, maybe she was just hungry? Rosie got up from her spot on the bed and rummaged through their pantry for some snacks. Unfortunately all she could find were, marshmallows, gummy bears, animal crackers, and some chips. Rosie sighed “It’ll have to do…. Now I just need papa to sleep…” Speaking of the devil, Ydris started to snore, rather loudly. Rosie smiled “Wow I must be a god or something.” She took the marshmallows and snuck out to the caravan, slowly made her way to the door, and opened it carefully, poking her head in. The woman snapped her head at the door like a started animal. Rosie gulped as the lady stared at her, “Hi…? I uhm… felt bad about earlier… and you looked hungry… so I brought you some snacks….I-I’m Rosie by the way…” Rosie slid the pack of marshmallows across the floor. The woman said nothing, so Rosie smiled and quietly wished her a good night. Rosie closed the door and returned to her wagon quickly so her father didn’t get suspicious by her absence.

The next morning Rosie went back to check on her, she noticed the marshmallow packet lying on the steps to the caravan, unopened and still full of marshmallows. She gave a sigh and took back the marshmallows “Mm maybe she didn’t like them…. Let’s try again tonight.” When night fell again and Ydris was asleep, she took the gummy bears to the storage caravan, she dropped off the gummy bears not saying anything to the lady then went back to her wagon to sleep. The next morning again, she found the pack of gummy bears unopened on the steps. Rosie got sad but she knew she wouldn’t give up - maybe the gummy bears scared the lady? She waited again for night fall to give this strange person the animal crackers, then went back to the wagon and slept. Rosie woke up before her father and rushed to see if the lady took the crackers, again came failure, but of course she still had hope, she would feed that woman even if it killed her or her food pantry. With a sigh she returned to the wagon to see her father making some tea. “You are up early…. I’m assuming you slept well ma petite?” Rosie smiled “Yeah..” She sat down on their little couch and watched him make his usual tea “Little dove may I ask why you have animal crackers in your hand?” Rosie laughed “No reason… I wanted to see if Zee would eat them…. Hehe.” Ydris laughed, “You’re so silly ma chérie, would you like some lavender tea?” Rosie shook her head “No thank you papa…” He gave her a look and said “You should have some… it’ll make you feel all relaxed…” Something in Rosie’s head clicked. “Relaxed..?” Ydris had given her an idea and she smiled saying, “Maybe later Papa.” She spent the day waiting for nightfall, and couldn’t help looking at the storage caravan, “Maybe, just maybe, she’ll like tea…”

Ydris was winding down after a show night with some tea. Rosie was eyeing his tea cup as he finished his first brew, and she watched him get up to make his second before she decided she would take his cup to the lady. When he finished making his second cup he turned around to look for some biscuits, and Rosie took the opportunity and swiped the cup before she quietly snuck out to the storage caravan. She opened the door and said quietly, “It’ll be cold tonight…. Here’s some warm tea…” She placed it down and wished the woman a good night, and as Rosie closed the door she noticed the lady shift off the bed instead of staring. She shut the door and sighed, then went to check on Zee for the night before heading to bed. “Zee mon amie~ Do you think that the lady will like my offering?” Zee nodded her head and huffed “Really? Thank you Zee… Bonne nuit.. and keep warm.” She headed back to the wagon and called it a night. When the morning light hit her, she snapped awake feeling anxious about the tea, and hoped it had worked because this was her last idea. She threw her shoes on and went to the caravan, but once she got closer she noticed the cup on the steps, like the previous times, and Rosie frowned thinking the lady didn’t take it so she went to get the cup giving up hope. However when she approached and went to grab it it was empty, so she stopped. Rosie’s mind was racing, she actually drank it???? The door opened revealing the woman in a better light and Rosie snapped her head to the door, getting a better look at the lady. She had an almost sickly pale complexion, with deep set bags under her sharp amber eyes. Her hair was long but an absolute mess, navy locks sticking in all directions as though someone had been dragging their hands through it. Speaking of hands, her long shaky fingers gripped the wood of the door like it was a last lifeline. Rosie and the Women stared at eachother for what felt like a long moment. The woman seemed hesitant but then she spoke in a course voice “Tha-“, she paused before restarting, “You said your name was Rosie…. My name is Wren..”
