Hi uh,,,me again. So I’ve been looking for the latest template for the character birthday cards from TWST for a while now (the Union birthday where they’re wearing the letterman (?) jackets), but haven’t found one?

Maybe I’m just blind, or it’s somehow blocked/buried from my IP address.

Nonetheless, I’ve decided to just make my own! They’re far from perfect, but I’m satisfied with how they look now. And in case any of you wanted them too, I’d like to share them! Don’t look too closely—

Some of them have color values that could use some work, so if you ever feel like it, you can edit them with the tone curve to better suit your interpretation of the original ones!

Anyway, that’s it from me. Feel free to use them however you please, and credits are not necessary, but it would be nice if you add a link on your work that leads to this post so that others can find the templates too. DAY 6 - Reunion! Reconciliation!

Okay folks. This one is pretty much self explanatory. Pardon the messy sketches but I didn’t have enough time to clean this one up. ASDKSDJKÑSJ

So the story here is: Post canon, there’s a conference at Cloud Recesses. Jiang Cheng and Nie Huaisang get dragged by Wei Wuxian to share a drink on the rooftops. At first everything is a bit tense, so wwx jokes that it must be their tight hairstyles that is making them act all serious and proper and joyless. WWX decides that tonight is a fun night and they are going back to their childhood times so he messes with JC and NHS’ hair so they both get back their teen bangs. After all that messing around things are much more relaxed. Wei wuxian takes a pebble from the roof and throws it to the little pond they have in front of them. It makes a nice wave in the water. Jiang Cheng absentmindedly does the same while they keep discussing something or the other, so Huaisang takes another little rock and tries himself BUT MISSES. The pebble goes into one of the buildings and suddenly someone screams “WEI WUXIAN!” The three of them freeze momentarily and run away when Lan Qiren comes out of the pavillon to chase them. They run and RUN and then stop when they’ve lost him and laugh like the idiots they are. That’s when Wei Wuxian decides to call it a night and go back to his husband. The rest is all there in the comic. Hope you guys like it. ♥♥♥

Quick Review: this manhua is written by my FAVORITE writer, Man Man He Qi Duo // 漫漫何其多 (AWM, FOG, Those Years in Quest of Honour Mine). She have one trope (and one trope only) in all her novels and this manhua is no different. I absolutely love that the fact all her main characters are EXACTLY the same in every novel lol. This manhua is cute, sweet, smidgen of angst but not really, HE and just a good read!

My dad isn't the best dad in the world. He's flawed and we fight a lot, and most of it is because of our financial situation. He's the sole earner of my family but things haven't been looking up for us the past few years. It is one of the reasons why things have gotten as bad as it is now- I should have known that he's hidden his illness for a while now because he doesn't want to add more debt into our family burden just because of a "small cough", especially with the pandemic.

It turns out, he has pneumonia and high glucose blood levels. The pneumonia made a hospital reject giving him first aid care this Monday (22/3) despite his COVID tests showing up negative because they were "incapable of handling a possible COVID patient" due to the fact that my dad's lungs x-rays had signs of infection on it. Keep in mind that he has a high fever and isn't even able to walk or go to the bathroom by himself. They didn't even provide a sufficient IV drip for my dad or a fitting oxygen mask. Monday night we brought him home in hopes of treating his sickness at home because we couldn't afford any other options. At 1am, he woke up from his sleep at home and puked. We brought him to an ER 30 mins away that told us on the phone that they would take a patient with possible pneumonia as long as their COVID-19 test come out negative. When we got there, they just stood there for 20 mins looking at my dad convulsing in the car before rejecting to give him care after I showed him his lung results. I begged them to at least give him first aid but they told me condescendingly that if my dad passed away, they wouldn't be liable. So I went home in tears.

Tuesday 6AM my dad went into septic shock. Money be damned, I called an ambulance from a private hospital that informed me they would take possible patients despite them having COVID or not. I thought that my dad could get the first aid help and then later be admitted to a normal room, but when the medics arrived the first thing they told me was: he has to be put into an ICU.

I have just recently resigned from my job due to high risk of COVID-19 exposure, and both my mom and my sibling are unemployed. We've asked for friends and family for help, but it's just not enough given that we don't have an insurance and an ICU room costs $1k/night. As we're living in a third world country, no medical action will be taken before we given if we don't pay first. We've used up all of our penny to the last drop to keep my dad plugged into the ICU machines and keep him alive to this daym

As of right now, he's fighting as hard as he can to keep his body alive. He's doing his best, and I know I should do my best too. I've ran out of options.

But all the bones in my left hand were pulverized, and whenever I tried to play with my right, I’d just end up crying. I went through surgery after surgery. Hardware was put in, hardware was taken out, but nothing worked. Finally the doctors told me: ‘Your hand is dying, and the only thing left to try is a bone transplant.’ Only then did my mother remember my father’s bones. When we grafted his bone onto my wrist, the blood started to flow. My hand came back to life. And I could play again. Even now, seventeen years later, and with four kids of my own, piano is such a big part of my life. I play at church. And even though we have a shoebox of a house, we have a piano. In our living room we keep a photo album of my dad. We talk about him all the time: what he did, who he was. I hate that he never got to meet my kids, but they know him. They call him ‘Papa Kash.’ And we know Papa Kash is somewhere else right now. But he’s also very alive in this house.”
