The sound of the waves crashing against each other. The sounds of seagulls flying looking for anything to eat. The sound of people talking and laughing.
It sounded like music to their ears,a song from their home. Something familiar in a place full of mysteries.
Player grabbed onto their headphones making them drop on the back of their neck, ears now exposed, listening fully in on the busy beach.
They stood there for a while in the entrance,their gaze looking at the beach, at the people playing or sunbathing,at the ship and at the sea. The sea is what they stared at for the longest time.
It felt like few long minutes to them,just staring at the sea,while in reality it was probably just a minute. One minute too long. Their thoughts went rouge again.
The voices aren't that bad to handle if you get used to them,but without their headphones,it can be distressing.
They didn't want to put them on but...if they don't wanna get annoyed at somone and get distracted.
Hero's movement showed unwillingness in putting on their headphones again, but they did it anyway.
Player also thought perhaps taking off their shoes here would be a good idea before they go into the sand and regret it for probably the rest of their entire journey. Nobody likes sand in their shoes,and it sure doesn't bring any good either.
The hero wandered around,as usual with each new area they encounter. Talk with some of the locals ,or rather,listen to them talk since most of the time the conversation is really one sided. They even had the moment of small amusement of seeing and talking to the sand 'snow'man guys, alongside sliding off the slide once.
What made them stop in their way of going to the docks was...
A collection of colorful surfboards, sorted in a way it made a rainbow. There were even guys,surfers, holding one each. It felt like the world just stopped for them...
Why do they feel sorrow . Why didn't they kill sadness too when they were cleansing their soul? Player look so depressingly sad and zoned out at the same time. They either didn't noticed they were staring at the guys or the guys decided to make conversation trying to lighten the mood.
'Yo, we're like,so bonded over surfing '
Well, ain't that nice. Player wanted to respond but in the end nothing came out,they didn't felt like they had strength to do it anyway.
... perhaps killing their solitude wasn't so bad after all.
God knows how they'd feel if it was still there. Probably more shit than they do now.
