cosmas is a bad man who does bad things and has bad things happen to him. he’s mean-spirited, tormented, and unforthcoming, mixed up in a playful charisma. in him you might find a friend, a business partner, or an incessantly frustrating problem. a believer in the emperor but not his will, cosmas has strayed from his path in life and cut his out own with his teeth. he understands the world as dominance and ownership, he is protective and possessive, he plays favourites and doesn’t pretend otherwise. despite all evidence contrary, he believes he is a rational agent.

emmot hyde (originswap au)

commissar, self-interested dogmatic

originswap is a costko au where cosmas is a commissar (emmot hyde) and zlatko is a crime lord (hunter). because of the significant divergence point in both of their plots, they're kind of the same guys while also being different guys with different names.

commissar emmot hyde is dead. the man in in his clothes, in his status, and in his name, is a fake. he was a voidborn labourer, a hiveworld factory worker, a hopeful militarum recruit, a skilled sniper, and finally, someone who saw an opportunity and took it. sell the lie for long enough, live the lie for long enough, and eventually it becomes true. the resurrected emmot is a model commissar. just don't try get too close, don't be in the wrong place or appear at the wrong time, and you won't suffer any accidents.
