Amy does not deserve Rory, this episode honestly proves that. While Karen Gillian is a goddess of the high hellenistic order the character she plays falls short of being worth of Rory’s love. Amy waits in Two Streams for a good 36 years and spends the entire episode reminding the audience of how totally sucky that was. She guilt trips, punishes, and hates on Rory for every second of that time. Well honey let me tell you that Rory waited 2000 years for you! He sat by the pandorica alone for 2000 years. That’s 1,051,488,000 minutes. Each minute of which he was alive and fully aware of what was going on around him. He had no friends, he never left the pandorica’s side, he sat and guarded it for2000 years. He never once brings it up as a negative or blames Amy or anything. Rory is the image of marital perfection and honestly amy doesn’t deserve him.
