Side negative that nobody talks about as much: It's getting fucking harder to plug OTHER things in! When music was listened to on mp3 players and phones with headphone jacks, you could buy a pair of wired earbuds in literally any store. Every pair of headphones came with a cable. And if you had something with a seperate cable, it was EASY to find standalone cables! Now you have to scour the box of every headset you look at to make sure it's not bluetooth, or if it is that it can be optionally plugged in. And if you need to replace a wire you're stuck going for like, heavy duty 6 foot long audiophile wires, you can't just buy a cheap earbud.
