here's something I might have not told you
my dad is a transphobe who acts like an ally
he has this friend and for this post I'll call him Fred. Fred is a trans man and my dad knew him before he figured this out and because of this he calls Fred a she because Fred doesn't mind if people address him by the wrong pronouns unless they're actually being mean about it. My dad calls Fred by both his dead name and Fred. Fred is now a little sad and I mean to say he rarely comes around now, he's sad when he does but he apparently makes some brutal trans jokes which my dad thinks is to cover bad mental health in most cases but just not with fred.I have heard a long conversation about his beliefs on trans bathrooms, sports, changing rooms and relationships and it's not hard to tell he's both for and against the trans men or women. and I quote 'i would not let my children in a car with 'him'' about a trans woman taxi driver. he has tried to push these views onto me and trust me when I say it worked when I was little and my younger sister he's brought up trans subjects that were in the news 5 or more years ago and said 'why are they still debating about this' on which I agree to in a different perspective that trans women use women's bathrooms and such he means to say the opposite.
he has some strange views about the world and I just wanted to document it and tell people because honestly it's just crazy how people so casually do this without thinking about the consequences.
