First, let me set the record straight: Barbara isn't a bad character. She's literally one of the best-developed women in Gotham. She wasn't as dark as Bruce, she didn't have a tragic backstory to become a superheroine, she was just a librarian, intelligent, courageous, and wanted to do something for her city as Batgirl. She had issues that proved she deserved to be a hero, demonstrating her intelligence and feats. Even after "The Killing Joke," Babs found another way to continue helping. She didn't let the tragedy that befell her—being confined to a wheelchair—stop her. Not at all. She carried on, and as Oracle, she proved to be just as indispensable as when she was Batgirl, and even better.

I understand the discontent about Babs becoming Batgirl again in the comics. Not only did they remove a heroine with a disability who proved she could still help, but many also want another Batgirl in the comics and other media, like Cassandra Cain (seriously, give Cass more screen time already, she deserves it). But to say Babs is a bad character? That's just not right.

Now, regarding her age difference with Dick in the '60s and '80s: Babs was initially around the same age as Bruce or Clark, meaning in her twenties or early thirties, while Dick was a teenager. Okay, what I'm about to write will probably get me a lot of hate, but since I don't care, here goes: I don't see anything wrong with it. Look, in the current Dickbabs comics, there's no age difference, and in the old comics, a relationship between Dick and Babs was never even hinted at. In fact, their relationship back then was more like siblings; there was never anything inappropriate or explicit about a romance between them during that period.

It wasn't until the nineties, after Crisis on Infinite Earths, that Dick and Babs' relationship began, and even then, they made Babs quite young, so at most she was a couple of years older than Dick, but nothing inappropriate. And currently on Prime Earth, they're basically the same age. So, the Dickbabs relationship isn't pedophilic. I understand why many might dislike the pairing because of that background, but let's separate things. It's not an inappropriate relationship in terms of the age difference.

Now, about Dickkory, I like Dickkory, I like Kory, but that post was ridiculous. Basically, it said that if I don't like Dickkory or if I like Dickbabs more, it's because of racism... I mean, seriously? Maybe I'm just slow to understand things, but what does racism have to do with this? And well, maybe it's because Kory is Tamaranean, an alien, or because she was portrayed as African American in the 2018 Titans series, or because Dick is white and Babs is white, and together they were a white relationship?. Racism is horrible; I've experienced it a couple of times when I've left my country. But what's racist about someone not liking Dickkory?.

Kory wasn't created to represent an African American or any other ethnicity; this has been confirmed in several interviews. The fact that she's from Tamaranean hasn't been used to allude to racism either (unless I remember correctly; feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). And I think it's stupid that this user is accusing those who don't like Dickkory of being racist. It's like saying, "You're an idiot if you don't like Dickbabs just because Babs is in a wheelchair." It's silly, it doesn't make sense. It's not a matter of racism or anything like that if someone doesn't like Dickkory; it's a matter of taste.
