Crying Over SpaIre

Sometimes I need to remind myself that some of my favorite characters are from a show about country personifications in which the fandom has a dark, dark history of being a warzone of cringe. I can't talk about my writing to just anyone because then I'll have to explain that.

I think Francis can be written in a myriad ways, from stylish to plainly vain, foppish and cruel. Kind, intelligent, concerned with his people and his people (meaning those closest to him). Philosophical. Feminine, masculine, unfailingly and deeply sensual. As per his canon self, comically dramatic but keenly aware of the dynamics that surround him. Beautiful, and complicated.
