So remember the April fools Rook Wednesday question? I wanted to finish that and finally had a way to finish it. Anywho, how would you feel waking up in the body of another and that person was someone you actively hated? Zea is learning the hard way. Will this experience help her understand the inquisitor and the choices he made that deeply affected her?

This is a little thing for Rook week.

Ulrike woke with a jolt, though for once not from fear; but from a need to search. Yet, just as his bare feet hit the cold stone of his lighthouse room, the chill traveling up his spine, he remembered. Shoulders slumped, he leaned forward, head in his hands. In his youth, he was angry and stupid. And he took that anger out on the one thing he had from when he was found. Remembering how he tried-and failed-to rip the small blanket in half. When his strength failed he marched over to the fire pit and tossed it in.

I'm not happy about the amount I have but I'm happy to have them. The ones at the for front of my mind though I'm really excited for.

Not necessarily a new idea but tweaked. Putting one of my rooks in a steam punk world where magic is still a thing.
