Look. This brand actually has valerian in it, and you CAN have too much of that. It's a medicinal herb with actual properties, not bullshit placebo effects like chamomile. PLEASE don't do this. And PLEASE make sure you're checking if there are interactions if you're on ANY kind of medications at all.
Please.
'Natural' doesn't mean 'magically safe for everyone ever'.

CHECK FOR INTERACTIONS.
I found out that Tums and my blood pressure meds are not a good match because it can cause hypercalcemia. Too much calcium in my blood. BAD. And my pharmacist didn't alert me. I looked it up myself one night.
Check for interactions. Always.
Wanna know another good one? St. John's Wort activates your liver and reduces the strength of medications because it shoves everything through more quickly. You need to stop taking it TWO WEEKS before any anaesthesia because you'll WAKE UP during surgery otherwise. It's not a bad choice for depression (depending on the strength and quality of the materials, which you cannot guarantee) if you take *absolutely ZERO* other meds. Ever. For anything.
Check. For. Interactions.
