Posession or Obsession? (a Destiel and minor Sabriel fanfic)
People: Dean, Cas, Sam, Gabriel, Crowley, Lucifer, Anael, Rowena
Summary: When Dean Winchesters, the nerd of the school gets into a fight with Crowley, a member a Lucifers gang who run the school it is broken up by Castiel, another member of the gang. Castiel tries to tell himself that he broke it up to save their reputation but could it be that he was trying to protect Dean and stop him from getting himself in trouble?

Ever since the the assault, which was now two weeks behind them, Castiel stayed by Dean's side.
He continued to ask him about the attack, about who did it.
But Dean wouldn't tell him.
He wasn't sure why but, the truth was, Lucifer had scared Dean.
Dean didn't know what would happen to them if he ratted Lucifer out, what would happen to him and Cas. And he didn't want to find out.
But he also felt anxious about what Lucifer said, about people hurting Castiel in the past. Because the last thing Dean wanted to do was cause Cas pain.
A part of Dean wanted the boy to leave him alone, but another part of him missed Cas when he wasn't there. When Dean couldn't talk with him or feel his touch, even if he was just friend.
Today Castiel appeared besides him again, when Dean headed home.
"Don't you have class right now?" Dean questioned, a worried look on his face.
Castiel shrugged. "Class can wait."
They headed in the direction of Dean's house, Cas could now dream the route from all the times he had walked Dean home.
"So, how was your day?" Castiel started the conversation.
Even though he knew Dean would never tell him if something was wrong.
"Fine, math is still a bitch though."
Castiel chuckled, he knew how much Dean hated math.
"You know, I could help you with your math. You only need to ask."
"I'm fine, thanks." Dean answered.
Cas scoffed. "No you're not, you suck at math."
He looked nervously at Dean, not sure of whether his joke was too blunt or Dean thought it was funny. But Dean broke into laugh.
Dean suddenly stopped in the middle of the road.
"Get off the road!" Cas squeaked as he pushed Dean out of the way.
This took Dean by surprise.
"Jesus, sorry. I was about to ask you out." He explained,
"By getting yourself killed?" The boy questioned
Dean opened his mouth to say something, but stopped.
"I just don't want to go home yet you know." He stammered, which wasn't a lie. The boy wanted to spend more time with Cas,
"Maybe we could go to the roadhouse?" Castiel suggested with a smile.
"I was thinking somewhere with a little bit more privacy.."
Dean smirked, Cas wasn't sure if it was a flirtation.
It wasn't long till they reached a little blue house, Dean's old house.
The house was pretty big compared to the apartment where the Winchesters now lived. The paint already started letting loose but otherwise the house seemed to be in a very good state.
It had a garden full of all the flowers Cas could think of: anemones, hyacinths and even tulips. It seemed as if someone had taken care of the garden, despite that nobody lived here.
"You know, I never thought that I'd take anyone here." Dean acknowledged.
"The house got sold after my mom died, nobody ever rented it afterwards."
Castiel frowned. "Even if it's empty, I'm not sure we should be here.."
"It's fine, i come here all the time." Dean responded, he took Castiel's hand and started pulling him closer. He smirked and then pulled away again.
"C'mon, let's go inside." The boy grinned.
Dean had crossed the lawn in no time. He approached the front door and kneeled as he started picking at the lock with a paperclip.
"You can pick a lock?" Castiel asked, astonished.
Dean scoffed. "Yeah, you can't?"
Castiel heard the pins in the lock clicking and a few second later they were inside. Castiel decided not to ask who taught him how to pick a lock.
The house smelled stale and everything got covered with a layer of dust over time. Castiel couldn't spot any pictures but still he could see Dean live here, happy.
Dean let out a harsh breath.
"You know, ever since we moved out I haven't been inside." Dean admitted.
Castiel laughed "Well, now you've broken in. I'd call that guts"
Before Dean could walk further, Castiel grabbed him by the wrist.
"Why did you take me here? For real?" He questioned.
Dean only lowered his head, like he was afraid to say something wrong.
"Don't shut me out, please." Castiel said softly.
Dean sobbed "Sorry, eh.. Okay Cas, I.. I think i have feelings for you. But i'm scared.."
"Scared that you'll make a mistake? That you'll get hurt?" Asked Castiel, while he also took Dean's other hand in his hand.
Dean sighed. "No, scared that something will happen to you. Like what happened to me."
Cas squeezed his hands gently.
"Dean, you don't have to worry about me." He assured him.
Dean lifted his shoulders in half a shrug.
"I know. I-I just can't help it!"
The boy tore his hands away from Castiel's.
He turned his back to Castiel, leaving him wondering what he did wrong.
Cas then curled up behind Dean, wrapping his arms around his waist and laying his head against Dean's back.
Cas never noticed it before, but he truly smelled like cinnamon.
He pouted."You know, even if it is dangerous.. It'd be worth it."
Castiel nuzzled with his nose in Dean's hair, which caused Dean to break into a smile.
"You really know how to make me blush, don't you?"
Castiel solely nodded in response, he was still wrapped around Dean.
"Jesus, I can't take this anymore."
Dean spinned around and held Castiel's face in his hands.
That was when he suddenly pressed his lips against Castiel's.
It took Castiel a moment to realize that the other boy's lips were on his.
But when he realized this, he pulled back a little and looked Dean in his eyes.
"Are you sure about this? About us? That this is what you want?"
He whispered, still lingering in Dean's kiss. In response he felt Dean smile against his skin, as if there was nothing wrong with this. with them.
"I'm more certain than ever before."
Castiel giggled as Dean's tongue slipped over his neck.
Cas thought about his family, what would Gabriel say about this? Or Lucifer? Yet he knew that this, Dean, was worth it. Everything. He was worth everything.
