Stay away from anything with charcoal during this season if you are on ANY medication!!!

Every time this goes around with the bullshit HRT addition I feel the need to correct this: charcoal does not somehow flush hormones out of your system. Activated charcoal that you've ingested can and will absorb ORAL MEDICATIONS. It absolutely does not and cannot affect injections. Now, if you're taking any part of HRT in the form of a pill, then yes, charcoal will weaken its effectiveness, but it will have absolutely zero effect on every other form of HRT.
