Death is much more casual than one would expect. All of a sudden there is something gone that was there before. At first it seems fine because you don’t immediately accept that you will never get to see or talk to them again. Then everything feels empty. They were a part of you. It’s hard to accept that part of you has changed. All of a sudden it’s not fair. Why? Why did they leave me? The dinner table is emptier with one less at dinner. You will never find someone just like them ever again. It’s not fair. You wish they would come back. Just one conversation would be enough. You start drowning in tears and regret. Why wasn’t I kinder to them? All the things I didn't say, but there's no more chances now. I missed the chance to tell them how much they meant to me.
