Alessia really likes Kavats, so having Kalymos be so involved in the day to day affairs of the Hex is something she enjoys greatly.

Also, getting used to smaller animals because of Lettie's rats, and forming a new appreciation for Kuakas and the like is a new development.

She doesn't have the most refined palette, so coming into 1999 after having mostly cuts of Unum meat (even though the Ostron season and cook it to perfection, you can only have it so many times before it becomes bland as hell), and Corpus nutrition rations most of the time, 1999 was like being sent to Heaven and back.

She found that she really liked very spicy curry after a hard fought mission. That or ramen with an egg, (and maybe she'll sneak a bit of Unum meat in it too).
