if i had a nickel for every time a netflix live action adaptation finally got people to see the vision when it comes to ships i love that a lot of people don't get or don't like/sometimes call "problematic" when they're not i'd have 2 nickels but it's pretty awesome it happened twice

i really hope the haikyuu timeskip gets animated i need to see chapter 387 animated and i WILL be bawling my eyes out watching it

i love it how the karasuno high vp has all reason to dislike the volleyball club (for exposing his toupee lolol) yet he becomes one of their biggest cheerleaders in the end like yeah you can't help rooting for those guys for real

"i'm hard at work lowering the net wherever i can" never fails to make me teary eyed ahah. i personally think that kuroo is the character that truly embodies haikyuu's thesis (to prove that volleyball is fun). the character who teaches/mentors people who are his rivals, who was largely responsible for getting the two most uninterested players in the series to say that they had fun playing, who was taught as a child that the most important first lesson is how fun it is to succeed, who then decided to dedicate his career to making volleyball accessible so that countless others can discover it and fall in love with it too. just like haikyuu itself, kuroo as a character wants to make volleyball fun for others and prove that it is a sport worth pursuing. i adore him.
