Aight, so from this we can learn that encouraging violence and hatred for groups based on gender identity and sexual orientation is grounds for getting banned on the tumb. However, look at that last section, guys.

Being transphobic isn't grounds for gettin banned cause saying "transwomen were born men" is not the same as say "kill all (insert racial minority)". Both are offensive and tasteless and mean (though I'd argue the latter is FAR more so... like clearly?), but only one of them is inciting violence. If there was anything along the lines of "kill all transwomen" on her blog (which she doesn't btw), then yeah, she'd be violating TOS. But "Being born a male makes you a man" =/= "You and everyone like you should die." Clearly. Does it hurt your feelings? Yes. Is it offensive towards a 'marginalized' group? Sure. Is it encouraging violence or even hatred? According to TOS, no. "But you're being pedantic!" Tumblr is a huge website and banning people on a general vibe of 'hatred' isn't a great business model, buddy! Terms of service are often (looks around) pedantic. "But it's hateful!" Yeah and nowhere on her blog does she say you have to agree. So that part of TOS is safe too. In fact there are several posts by her, answered asks, where she says she does think trans people are real, and she chooses to acknowledge their birth sex, but that's just her personally, and she gets why others dont. In terms of TERF blogs, my mutual here is actually pretty tame!

TLDR: Yeah, sure her blog can be viewed as Transphobic and Transmisogynistic, but those aren't against tumblr's terms of service. Might sound unfair, but come on guys. It's social media, and there are much more harmful bigots (if you can call my moot that) on here.

Now lemme address the "transfems are getting banned for no reason" part

What counts as harm to minors? NOW, before your eyes glaze over and you go ahead and report this post too without reading it, hear me out. According to TOS/Guidelines/Da rulez, minors on tumblr = anyone who is clearly a minor/child OR anyone who appears to be a minor. Harm to minors is exploitative, sexual content of many kinds. It goes on to say that 'content' of illustrated children and text about children also fall under harm. SO, does talking about a "little sister" in a sexual way count? When paired with a pfp of an anime character who is visibly underage? Yeah. Does loli-con art work count? Yep.

"But this is just punishing thought crimes!" Not exactly. Again, tumblr, biiig website. Lots of people on biiig website. Even people from other countries. Countries like Australia, where sexual illustrations of fictional children and text/literature depicting kids in a sexual way = csam = illegal. You might not agree with it because (insert totally enlightened stance about naked anime kid drawings), but the fact of the matter is that the global platform that is tumblr, rightfully tries to restrict as much CSAM as possible, real, drawn, and written.

Where am I going with this? Well.. maybe some of the transems being banned aren't being banned for no reason? Take a look at some of the stuff transfemme bloggers have said on this site

Okay class, what are some of the things we see here?

✅hoping transmen kill themselves, threatening to kill their families, threatening to rape them and kill them, hoping they get raped to death

✅ a "joke blog" that suggests women get raped when the talk about things like homo/lesbophobic fetishes

✅ A (checks notes) victimized transwoman with nowhere else to go 'joking' about being a perverted child (such a thing doesn't exist btw) who wants adults to sexualize them

✅ saying that implying pedophilia and incest during sex is hot and idolizing such uhhhhhh kinks

✅ horny posting about "hung little sisters"

✅ horny posting about raping women in "revealing clothing" and calling them "cunt girls"

✅ an incest blog horny posting about grooming a little sister into being a slave... need i say more

✅ a horny post (ahem) fictionally encouraging the rape of one's mother

✅ a horny post about raping terfs

✅ a horny post about masturbating in front of non consenting women and sexualizing them

✅ a horny post about a concerning age gap, reblogged by the one and only "hung lil sis"

✅ a blog of a "horny post" (i hate calling it that) about how rape is a good thing and it feels good for everyone (i don't care if it's your fetish, that's a disgusting thing to say. period)

✅ another post about mother rape (wow sensing some themes here guys

✅ Little sister raping gfs (how creative)

✅ tgirl slut 4 evil says "help a rapist rape your friends" ... the jokes write themselves

✅ our friend hung lil sis encouraging followers to send creepshots (non consensual photographs of people in compromised spots or parts of their body)... assumedly as a joke cause otherwise this is encouraging sexual exploitation material and.... no one would do that... right?

TLDR: Post upon post about killing people they disagree with, threatening to rape them, and sexualizing the rape of women in general but especially relatives and children

so uhh.. stuff that definitely violates TOS. All of the posts about children can fall under harm to minors and all of the posts about raping people and killing people fall under a call to violence. And before you say "these are just forms of sexual expression! you're punishing people for thought crimes!" Many of these aren't tagged in a conscientious way. They have very sfw, mainstream tags like "lesbian" right next to "consang" ... this leads to these posts getting content warnings. Racking up enough content warnings and understandable reports for alarming content leads to (drumroll please) a ban from the moderation team.

So what did we learn? Servin Terf didn't get banned despite transphobia (because it's not a bannable offense), and transfems don't get banned for no reason (many have violated tos when it comes to inciting violence and alarming sexual content)

I can hear some of you say:

"you cherry picked evidence!!" this isn't a research paper; this isn't evidence. I'm showing *some* examples as an explanation for why something keeps happening

"you're too much of a coward to tag all the blogs you screenshotted" I mean sure yeah? This side blog isn't my job. Why would i dredge up the people who wrote all this very explicit stuff that I think is disgusting? To prove a point?
