in my humble opinion, contraceptives must be considered as a hygienic necessity, not because sex is a human right, but because sex is used as a tool of oppression and women should have easy access to items that make sex a smaller threat. condoms might not be good pregnancy preventives, but they prevent you from possibly contacting STD's. birth control is not that good for your health, but it gives you possibility to control your reproductive abilities. emergency contraceptives imo should be always available because prevention of unwanted pregnancy in cases of rape should be held in attention. banning abortions is not the only form of reproductive oppression, making contraceptives less available falls under it too
