This is all part of the patriarchal idea that men should always have their way no matter what. Keeping 50% of the population in a constant state of terror at making the wrong move, because of the threat of violence,  is a calculated strategy, just as it is in all these sorts of power dynamics. The ones who wish to stay in a position of power need to keep those who would rebel against them in a constant state of fear that they MIGHT get hurt if they protest.

“tearing the lgbt community apart?” trans people did that when they started treating gay people like we’re evil for not wanting the opposite sex just bc they claim to have a female/male brain and refused to do anything about the rampant homophobia in their community. we’re better off without you constantly dragging us down and making us unsafe in our own spaces. you did this to yourselves.

no such alliance would’ve needed to happen had y'all been willing to accept that gays and lesbians are not morally obligated to fuck you. stay mad.  keep perpetuating that homophobic “not sucking my dick is oppressive” narrative, see how it keeps working for you.

This is conversion therapy pure and simple and it’s sickening to see people celebrating it. Gay men are same sex attracted. We are ONLY attracted to biological males, not silicone strap ons on female bodies.

Ugh the second gif. People who insinuate that you’re “afraid of sex” or “afraid of having a good time” and therefore should fuck them are not to be trusted, and that goes for any sexuality. But the conversion therapy rhetoric here is also off the charts. This conversation should have ended at the first gif. There’s no reason that a gay man should ever have to explain himself or his sexuality beyond that.

That’s because it’s not skilled labor, anyone can do those things. In order to make good money, you have to be able to do something that not everyone can do.

There’s no text so fiendish and manipulative that it’s too dangerous to read. Comparing works from opposing viewpoints is a standard scholastic practice. Critical readings and analyses of material one finds objectionable in whole or in part is kind of what academia is, you know? The slickest, most well-written propaganda can be dissected. “Know your enemy”? Anybody? Anybody?

If you find yourself around sentiments like, “Our enemy is too dangerous for you to ‘know.’ You might be contaminated by bad ideas; knowledge is therefore forbidden,” what you should do is leave, and quickly. Getting out is far easier before any border closings start.
